Ubuntu is Growing Faster on Windows Than on Linux:
https://feed.itsfoss.com/link/24361/17421675/canonical-wsl-growth
(Not really surprised, Ubuntu isn't really a user-focused distro anymore, Canonical makes money from enterprise customers, who like to slave for Microsoft I guess, but they use WSL because Linux is often much better at development stuff.)
(A few months ago, I learned some DevOps at university, and the prof showed how to install Jenkins on a Windows machine using WSL, and I'm like: why use Windows at that point, wouldn't it be easier to just use Linux?)

(I upgraded a few days ago (I have the Phosh edition), and for some reason, the welcome app appears for a few seconds, then a lock screen with the default wallpaper instead of the one I set, then when I unlock the phone, it looks like as if it crashes, the GUI disappears for a few seconds, then it comes back, unlocked successfully. It only does this after boot, if I lock the screen back, everything is normal, no crash, and the wallpaper is what I set. Not the end of the world for me, but it's a bit weird, might annoy some.)

I just played around with the collections feature, made 3 collections for Linux/FOSS projects, news sources and creators
Systemd has an (age) bracket in its logo
(sorry I had to post this braindead "joke" lol)
I've heard this song a lot in the radio 8-9 years ago, and it came into my mind again, can't stop playing it in my mind in the past few days. Sweet nostalgia...
https://invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=JzwBmZhvnSQ
It sounds even better now, after this many years, now that I can actually relate with the lyrics. I'm getting "old" (only in my twenties but still lol) I guess.
I know, for most people I hear talking about music, only the songs of 80s and 90s are good, but I draw the line in 2018-2019. Even songs in those years were much better than 2020s music for the most part. New music in the past few years all sound the same to me (with a few exceptions, but there are fewer and fewer exceptions as years pass, I ended up listening to new songs from only 2 artists, but even one of them has pretty mediocre music this year). Or maybe I'm just getting old, "boomership" kicks in, idk lol
But also, I miss those times when life was much easier... "Those were the days", as the linked song says. I actually start to understand the older generation saying things used to be much better

Doesn't work without a Google/Apple-tied device btw. There is absolutely no story for how this would work on a desktop, anything without a Google/Apple account, or open source OS at all either.
