Hi fediverse, let me fix my timeline and introduce myself properly✨

I'm fromGaza, afather of newborn twins, trying to rebuild a small safe space for my family. I love:

  • horror books
  • gaming 🎮
  • cats 🐈
  • space & astronomy🌌
  • coding💻

If you post about any of these, boost this and I'll follow you really need mutuals who actually talk and interact.

If you'd like to support me and my newborn twins directly, you can donate here: https://gofund.me/6ee0c858

Thank you for reading and for your support

#introduction post: I'm Badger (or Abyss) 🕳️🦡 Lurker from #Ireland who doesn't usually talk all that much, but likes to occasionally share Neat Things. Trying to learn more (mainly language, bookbinding, and simple art) and trying to be outside more. Here's some of my interests: #books, #gaming, #writing, #nature, #journaling, #mushrooms, #horror, #poetry, #ships, the #ocean, the Amundsen/Scott/Shackleton expeditions, and others. I am not particularly exciting and not very good at talking. :Blobhaj_Shock:

Did that '9 games that shaped me' thing (do yours at https://my9games.net) Many of these won't be surprises, I've written about most of these (here: https://spacetimetech.wordpress.com/2024/04/06/20-video-games-i-cant-stop-thinking-about and here: https://spacetimetech.wordpress.com/2025/11/23/15-great-games-you-could-play-on-a-mac-performa-575-in-1994) Ms. Pac-Man was the first arcade game I loved as a kid in the 80s, Kirby I played on a friends' Game Boy, just as I did with Diablo, on a friends' PC. Sim City I played first at school, and all the other 90s ones (Wolfenstein, Doom, Sim Ant, etc) would have been on our own family Mac or PC. I referenced Rogue here, I actually played Mac Moria first, but same thing. #games #gaming #RetroGaming #fps #sim #simulation #arcade #ArcadeGames #rogue #roguelikes #arpg #Diablo #Doom #Wolfenstein #SimCity #PacMan
