Mittlerweile haben wir den Contour ShuttlePro V2 unter Linux für Kdenlive zu laufen gebracht. Allerdings bekommen wir die Tasten 14 und 15 nicht aktiviert. Das sind die Tasten rechts und links neben dem Drehrad. Sie werden erkannt, jedoch immer als das Dial (Drehrad). Wir sind mit unserem "Latein" am Ende. Besides maintenance and debugging work, this year, my work on Kdenlive was mostly dedicated to refactoring the Kdenlive keyframes system to make it more powerful. This is part of a NGI Zero Commons grant via NLnet, see my last status report from february for some more context.

#Blender3D version 5.2 brings some excellent functionality to the #BlenderCompositor. I think I will be leaning into this and the #BlenderVideoEditor and move beyond #Kdenlive and any feelings that I should be using #DaVinciResolve (which looks amazing, but there's no free #H264 support on #linux). Gestern sah ich win paar interessante #videoeffekt - und frag mich wie man das selber machen kann - am liebsten unter #linux. Ein Teil der Effekte ist das Freistellen von Objekten/Personen in Videos.(Lief gestern Live in Echtzeit) Wie kann man das machen, idealerweise mit #kdenlive ? Oder auch winem anderem Programm? Hat da jemand Erfahrungen mit?

Die letzten Wochen bin ich tatsächlich in Sachen Videoschnitt mit Kdenlive und Grafik-Design mit Inkscape, etc. wieder am Zweifeln angekommen. Manche Dinge verlangsamen den Workflow enorm. Insbesonders wenn man von der Affinity-Suite und DaVinci Resolve kommt. Dennoch möchte ich den Wechsel von Windows zu Linux nicht rückgängig machen. Ich bleibe also hartnäckig! Ich möchte die Lust zum kreativen Schaffen nicht verlieren. #linux #kdenlive #inkscape #windowstoLinux #affinity #davinciresolve
