FediSuite 1.7.0 is here!This release brings some of the biggest additions yet for publishing and analytics:Archive search: Search every post FediSuite has ever seen for your accounts. Search a single account or all connected accounts at once, with matches even inside words.Cross-posting: Select multiple accounts in the composer and publish or schedule the same post across different platforms. FediSuite automatically respects character limits, media rules, visibility options and other restrictions of all selected accounts.Eight new reach insights: FediSuite now uses calculated net reach directly to identify your best times and weekdays, differences between media and text posts, potential reach decline and more.The reach formula developed by Ralf Stockmann for FediWings now also includes quotes from Mastodon 4.5+. Ach wie schön, man kommt aus dem Urlaub zurück und stellt fest, das der gesamte #Github Account gesperrt ist. Repositories, wie z.B. https://github.com/jedie/django-reversion-compare sind offline und zeigen nur ein 404... Alles weg, nur 404. (Hab natürlich backups, lokale Klone und automatisierte Klone in einem privaten #Forgejo ) Hab nicht einmal eine EMail bekommen, mit irgendeinem Hinweis.

A reminder to the world: You don't "need" Codeberg, you never did, you can run your own Codeberg, literally the same interface because it is the same software, it is called Forgejo. Your time, frustration and emotional distress is unnecessary and worth more than the 3 euros or less a month of a Hetzner VPN. That being said, I wouldn't say there is *no* alternatives. #Codeberg has gotten a bit of fame lately indeed, but there are other self-hosted #Forgejo instances which are happy to welcome AI users, e.g. #CodeFloe.

@Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de I did look at some of the initiators/sponsors of the original proposal and did find one of apparent more important maintainers of @forgejo@floss.social and formerly Gitea until it turned "commercial". I wonder if this will lead to yet another fork of what started out as Gogs some probably 10 years ago now. Vibegeo? Vibeforge? Vibedistrict? (Thanks the original author of Gogs back when btw. I was already pretty amazing back when!) Certainly I will refrain from trying to propose (with PRs) a set of extensions to the issue system as said extensions and their raison d'etre have the evil taint of the LLM and hence certainly wouldn't be accepted. 🤷 #gogs #gitea #forgejo
