Colorado mountain person. I make things and go to conventions. Generally I'll post content related to my hobbies, which include #car restoration, #outdoor experiences, #furry events, #games (tabletop and PC games, sometimes older consoles), #Linux, #computers, and fixing stuff in general.
I am online to be silly. I'm usually silly.

My dad (who never asks for gifts) has made it known he wants a digital photo frame as a holiday gift this year. I'm doing my own research here, but I'd love recommendations if anyone has them! A couple key requirements:
-
Must be functional without an Internet connection (by which I mean it must display and auto cycle through photos at a minimum; physical buttons or a touch screen would be ideal).
-
High quality screen. Think like 1600x1200 on a 10-12" frame, with good color reproduction.
I have a budget of about $300, but I could go a bit higher for the perfect frame.
Thanks in advance for any guidance or suggestions here! As with anything else, the market is innundated with low quality crap and I'd really like to get him something decent.
2B, what have they done to you??
Or maybe this is an origin story.
I'm still trying to reclaim space in my workshop! Four things for sale this time:
- Nintendo 3DS XL with Circle Pad Pro
- Anbernic Win600 with CachyOS installed
- Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop (no OS)
- Macbook Air 2018 A1932 with macOS and CachyOS
This will be a thread with a detailed post about each item; please respond publicly if you're interested in an item (so folks have an idea if there's someone else ahead of them), and we can take the conversation to DMs/email to sort out payment and shipping. I can take payment via KoFi, Zelle, or Venmo. Shipping in the USA is included in the cost! I always prefer to sell on Mastodon so I don't have to give eBay 25% of my sales AND because I'd rather see queer furry nerds get their paws on this stuff.
Boosts and questions are welcome!
