the guy I got it from was actually its original owner, he said he got it new as a present for his first job THIS IS A MAXED OUT 2004 MODEL WITH DUAL 2.7GHZ G5 CHIPS AND CAME STOCK WITH 8GB OF RAM THIS WAS A 10K COMPUTER HE EVEN INCLUDED THE WIRELESS KEYBOARD AND ISIGHT CAMERA THIS GUY MUST HAVE BEEN FUCKING BALLER IN 2004

this is a workstation like, a real workstation it detects the airflow shroud coming off and automatically ramps the fans it has a hard drive fan the power supply is in its own little section the fans come out on little trays the hard drives have dedicated levers that indicate bay A and B and the cables routed perfectly it's gorgeous THIS IS WHAT THEY TOOK FROM YOU

I paid 200$ for it which i don't love but it came with accessories and the guy was nice, +it was fb marketplace so no shipping costs (for a machine that weighs 45lbs that's a nice bonus)

wtf is up with modern motherboards all the am5 boards I'm seeing have two or three pcie slots and then that's it, and they're all x16 for some reason do people just not have anything other than a gpu now?? my low end am4 board has 3 16x slots and then three 1x slots because... they're basically free? just give me the extra slots! I want my network card and FireWire and whatnot!
