@PossumTV@aus.social I like how she understood leverage to pry the brick over an obstacle.
RTINGS has an eye opening video about how modern TV watches what we watch. Fuck this.

What if, instead, the kaiju kissed.

My plastic footrest broke. This was an opportunity to use some salvaged deck boards to make a new foot rest. I think they are Douglas fur and they are heavy for softwood. Some dark stain brings out the grain and some brass screws to finish the rustic look. #DIY #woodworking #upcycling

Seeing your bug reports marked fixed years after filing them feels strange.
I"m contemplating purchasing a toaster oven and then I remember how appliances have been enshitified. Perhaps a used one instead.

@synlogic4242@social.vivaldi.net I liked the Star Frontiers d100 mechanic. It gave layers a better grasp of their odds of success. I used it as a core mechanic in my DIY Cyberpunk game.

@randomwizard@social.vivaldi.net I remember the Star Frontiers supplement Zebulon's Guide to the Galaxy revamped the combat rules to include such a chart. Possibly where Alternity got theirs.

Hey #Toronto Did you know there are two new data centres planned for Toronto? Scarborough and Etobicoke.

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io Curious about the 'turn your lights off' advice. In snow country where I am we keep our hazard lights on so folks don't hit us (or find us if we get buried, but that's not a sand problem).
I hiked in Algonquin Park last week. We even saw a moose. It's reminder that we don't want to do things, like build pipelines, that will threaten this.

Way back when, I say Whitesnake in concert. Few vocalists I've seen live (excluding lip-syncers and auto-tuners) sound the same live as the do on their albums. David Coverdale is one such singer. I was in awe.
