@Cal I think that #TTS, if done good, is - at worst - okay.
Not only because a lot of folks put videos in the background andPeople will watch a video regardless if DCI-8K + HDR or "extra crunchy" 76p24but if the #audio is "ear rape" they won't even use it as #AntiBurnIn-Footage on mute!Also not everyone has a #voice and it would be rather ableist to deny people that option.Also there are means to tweak it so it doesn't sound shit.Tho "#Anonymous Voice" never gets old!

@zzt this doesn't work unless one can pre-determine all states of a program and required runtime.
If your program/task is simple enough for that, watchdog functionality is easy to support.If not (which is the case with anything not hard-realtime capable!) then that doesn't succeed…
Also HackerNews/Ycombinator is just gsrbage…

This is why every North Korean who hasn't successfully fled into safety overseas has to have their appearance hidden and voice at least alternated if nit replaced, as even being in contact with foreigners can put them at risk of being murdered by fhe state.
