One thing I’ve found helpful when doing mesh modeling in #Blender is hiding the parts of the mesh I don’t want to focus on.
So like working on an arm or a leg or a hand or foot, you can select that geometry, CTRL-I to inverse the selection, then hide with H.
I usually make sure to not hide connecting areas where the context is important. So if I am focusing on a hand, I won’t hide the wrist. Or a head, not hide the neck and shoulders.

My dad is looking for any kind of devices that have this sort of male connector. He’s having a ton of trouble getting it soldered. Any suggestions on if there are any devices he could cannibalize a connector from would be a huge help. Or maybe tips on how to solder them. #electronics #hamradioReplying to

I don’t think companies appreciate the long-lasting, deep damage they do when they sow this extreme level of distrust in their workers.

400Hz 208V three-phase power for North America. Motor-generator for the higher frequency and isolation - as well as ride-through of any short outages.
Kinda sad that later systems had better switching power supplies and could easily run off regular 60Hz 208V.

The absolute worst are companies that basically don’t let you cancel or delete your account. Full stop. That should be totally illegal.

Or maybe they just don’t care, make the next quarters’ numbers look awesome, and figure they’ll be out of the picture by the time all the real damage they did becomes known.
(An aside - I’ve seen this develop too when the workplace just becomes too miserable for any number of reasons including a hostile workplace, and incredibly good, knowledgeable, hard workers, people they’re getting way more value than they realize for what they’re paying, leave.)
