Debating whether it's ok to punch Nazis is as pointless as debating Nazis. We don't debate if it's ok for our immune system to fight germs.

We've had to say a lot of stuff We thought was fucking obvious Like, "Yes, it's okay to punch Nazis!"

The bigger impact is going to be how Labour react, and it's been clear so far they're more likely to chase the falling Reform votes than the rising Greens (compared to the vote share in last year's council, rather than the 4 years since those seats were last fought)

The beauty of the UK system in comparison with USA is that there's plenty of parties to choose from, so you can usually vote with your conscience.

So not voting, you may as well be unconscious.

In most recent elections more people didn't vote than voted for the winning candidate, so get out, get your friends out, and vote

@frabcus I don't think they have concert details - that's the opportunity, let the bands in there upload a calendar, and then bandcamp could curate a "gigs near me" feed. Feels like an obvious extension to their current offering. It's not a replacement for Spotify, it's more like MySpace or old Facebook where bands and fans have less friction to connect. I'm on YouTube music rather than Spotify because I still listen to a lot of music from bandcamp and jamendo that's nowhere else.

Not just a return to handmade, but a new attempt to build something that is undeniably, honestly new and human. Think of all art forms embracing a collapse of the old rules, like Angine de Poitrine

Reform (our MAGA party) are peeling off members from the main parties, and they're opening the door to chase them and steal their policies, Not noticing that the tent has moved so far their traditional voters have been left outside. Luckily here, we have some centre-left and harder left parties for them to go to, but the big tent parties just aren't paying attention.

Anything that requires human-in-the-loop is not labour-friendly. Anything that explicitly minimises the work done by humans is not labour-friendly (in this case, the most marginalized, and without mental health protection) Anything that promotes deskilling of work is not labour-friendly.
