Neither speaker have contributed to the project

But said speaker's handlers are willing and ready to contribute millions of $$$ both to the project and individually to people who have a say in that project.

This is really hard task for a human to reject money they and their family can live by for a few decades on. And same money for the project, as they are misled, will still be 'theirs'. All #technazi bro want now is that drop of blood beneath the 'use AI' text. The real price will be revealed later.

Ob nicht ein (billiger! sehr viel billiger als heute Usus) Zugriff auf Dinge der bessere Weg ist.

Are you suggesting that those #nazi corporations are Fairy Godmothers?

And it all is not about possession per se. It is about their ability to take a thing, or all things you do not possess, from you and turn your life off at a whim, just in time you'd start to think about not obeying them.

Why is a smart phone app still required?

Because some bad people want to use hardened by them Linux desktop and it would not be possible to read their messages by the lawful warrant (to search their phone) using Pegasus or similar hacking tools.

If there is an app on the phone, and this phone sits without battery in the drawer, Linux desktop of a bad guy will get delinked. So bad guy will be pushed to turn this phone on.

The moment the phone goes online for relink, all messages bad guy read on their Linux are pushed to the phone and there got decrypted, hence authorized law agencies can get to this communication by their usual means, because national security is of paramount importance to every subject who has nothing to hide.

P.S. if all your contacts are nerds, you all can set-up a standalone desktop instances since 2016 or so. Just this way is out of reach for the general population.

There's no real regulation of the companies who are providing age verification services.

This is by design. The "mind kids" is just a smoke screen to gather enough data on the population to let physical bots deal with a precrime of dissent.

#technazi bro do like sci-fi, they just do not like the endings of books and movies depicting how they had lost. So now are eager to not make mistakes the sci-fi villains did to their demise.

An article with an AI generated picture? An commit by Claude? A vibecoded bash script?

Each of abominations listed makes perpetrator dumber and in the same time helps the Big Lying Machine spread its viral madness to more victims.

Why do we condemn the people doing that?

Because ostracism is the last stand of those who, while unable to save the mankind as a whole, are trying to save enough enclaves of sanity to let our species survive.

We are making our bubble smaller everyday by excluding everything and everyone "impure".

Because in the face of an outbreak of the brain eating virus known for its almost 100% fatality rate and no known cure the quarantine is a must.

First, #siliconiac victim does a small generation of the funny picture for an article they write themselves, then they are tempted to "just polish" their next. They'll swear that they 'd do fact-check every generated sentence, and first they do, but virus got in – soon they are mere protein based point of contamination for many in their vicinity.

The #Fediverse may soon need a social vouching system

Social vouching can't do much to prevent #siliconiac agents from acting through a protein proxy.

The problem is tough. We could enforce #noai registrations by using CAVER(RTT) techniques°. About the only thing a 2TW datacenter can not reliably solve/mimic. Yet.

This class of reverse turing test though can be discriminating: many humans far on the autism spectrum have no abilities to pass it as well. It also inevitably has strong cultural biases.

For win specific needs (business/cad specialized software) I usually would go virtual on kvm. This is something that power linux user must do for a windoze refugee (setup and sometimes upgrade). Once the win virtual machine is running on a decent hardware block the nets, turn off defender and indexing and users are amazed at what speedy winz can be in a proper environment ;)

is not reasonable, realistic, or kind.

It is the only reasonable and realistic thing a solo unpaid developer of a niche software can do.

Every time I heard 'Can you make a nice UI for this' I usually replied with 'OK, i can assume it will be some 2mo to make a GTK tabbed UI for this, so instead of passing the option letter you can tap a switch'.

Then they were all enthusiastic and "Yeah yeah, lets do it do it". The continuations were like:

Ok, that's two months, I need some €3k/mo so please do some crowdfounding to the amount of €8k (taxes, comissions), reach to others with same need, and get back to me if succeeded.

And then... then was a deep silence, now and then disturbed with someone's rant saying I should be the one doing the crowdfunding – because they need the features.

I'm fine with trending bots

I left a comment in the repo. Is below list OK with you?

[github comment] Opt-in means that BOTH sides to the communication AGREED to interact with your bot. Both being informed parties.

  1. the OP must have a means to tell the bot 'hey, I allow you to boost it to your foillowers'. It can be made eg. by an universal "#botboostok" tag

  2. each recipient of must have FOLLOWed your bot, being informed they are about to follow a bot

  3. Bot MAY NOT impersonate the OP – the boost must have come from the bot's id. This way it can be a service, otherwise you'll just get defederated.

There may be a point where the minimum wage does have the effects

The minimum wage should be replaced by a minimum income threshold that enables a basic standard of living within a given local authority area. The difference between this amount and the wage paid to an employee by a company operating in that area should be paid by the local authority and then, after adding administrative costs, recovered from that company via an individual tax assessment.

The minimum income required to cover living costs, including housing and energy costs, should be set annually, taking into account forecast inflation.

hacking content creators ... AI-brained

In what sense hacking? For the sec-op expert, the mechanical Turk sifting out through millions of bytes of a binary blob comparing each few instructions sequence to millions of exploitable patterns might speed-up the important discovery. And, as #noai fighter I had to admit it.

As for the generating slop in the other hacking meaning – making tangible electronics and program it – I more and more am convinced that creators either sold their channels, or at least sold their work on them.

If you for 10 or so years was making a few hundred bucks a month for 250-300h work it is much tempting to say yes to the mail offer in $$$ tens of thousands for "just use our model, bro".

First this happened to centrist political channels, then to tinfoil milliner's ones, now #technazi bros want to dumb future tinkerers.

wiele rzeczy zostało oddane rynkowi Ta akurat dawno temu została oddana pisrosyjskiej mafii.

Pod koniec ubiegłego wieku w Polsce wdrożono "podwodnie" system uniemożliwiający wałki w SZ. Mały zespół programistów zrealizował system, którego architekturę i pierwsze funkcjonalności stworzył Andrzej Sośnierz. Do walki z niszczycielem biznesu dzielnie stanęły zgodnie PiS i SLD, z min.

the exclusion of Linux users ... who make cross-platform software

If this is FOSS and is properly backed you can open a feature request for e.g. UI installer. Note that different distributions have their own package managers. And it is better to support their package maintainers. Their work is also hard and rarely appreciated.

The best approach is to simply learn CLI, and learn how to search for old HOWTOs eg through noai.duckduckgo.

The most important: document your struggles, to the great detail. Then make a HOWTO for others, blog your experience.

Software houses can hire a docuwriter for some $140k/yr FOSS asks you to give back. And most developers are bad at writing docs meant for someone not having their knowledge and experience. It is not easy to imagine how someone not having my experience will tackle problems I do not have. It comes only from such fresh-user made HOWTOs on their blogs.
