Pixel phones now have theft detection where an AI tries to detect when your phone is stolen and lock the screen.
So far only false positives. That's OK, there would likely be over 90% false positives if it is going to be of any help.
But my situations where totally benign. No sudden running or something. Odd.

@cm@chaos.social Nicht in dem Umfang. Bei Prepaid- oder Debitkarten hast Du ein striktes Limit, bei Kreditkarten nicht unbedingt. Bei Kreditkarten ist es auch leichter, noch unbekannte Zahlbeträge im Voraus zu genehmigen (inkl. Abos). Bei reinen Debitkarten geht das eher nicht.

@cm@chaos.social Du vergisst hoffentlich einmal, rechtzeitig zu zahlen, denkt sich die Bank. Außerdem erfährt sie etwas über Deine Gewohnheiten. Und wenn Du außerhalb der EU-Regulierung bezahlst, verdient sie an diesen Umsätzen (Banken erhalten den Großteil der Händlergebühren, Visa/Mastercard nur einen kleinen Teil davon).
Der Händler freut sich, dass Du mehr ausgibst, was statistisch auch stimmt. Wenn Du das nicht in Griff hast, ist das der wahre Pferdefuß.

Methinks: If you have verified contacts, it doesn't hurt to let them know in advance.

@peter_koenig Es muss ein Kriegsverbrechen-Gericht sein. Nicht für Kriegsverbrecher, denn es ergibt sich ja erst aus dem Verfahren, ob die Angeklagten schuldig und damit Kriegsverbrecher sind.
Der Unterschied ist wichtig.
Verteidigt sich jemand gegen etwas, was ihm niemand vorgeworfen hat, weckt das in mir immer einen gewissen Verdacht.

@TwraSun Was Kinder angeht, hat er alledings unrecht. Kinder sind Personen unter 14. Minderjährige sind idR Personen unter 18. Es trifft also nicht zu, dass jede Minderjährige ein Kind wäre.

@SheDrivesMobility@norden.social Das stimmt so nicht ganz. Wer kein Auto hat, profitiert indirekt. Treibstoff ist dummerweise Teil fast jeder Kalkulation. Von den Kosten eines Handwerkers über Mobilfunktarife bis zu Windeln und Bananen im Diskontmarkt.
Wer kein Auto hat, bekommt weniger, deutlich weniger, aber nicht nichts.
Ist die zeitweise Steuersenkung "sozial treffsicher"? Nein, es ist ja eine Verbrauchssteuer.

How so? If they are not profitable, they do not pay that type of tax anyway. What am I missing?
Also, section 174 has been changed back, for tax years 2025 and ongoing. Yet, the layoffs have continued in tech.

So this model doesn't scale. You'd have to find other leftover materials, and then check what their efficiencies are.

InSite affects a large number of people from different parts of town who have no real alternative, whereas the bikelane removal has a more limited impact.
A bit like we have protection of property, but a few citizens get expropriated here and there.
