#Today on Mitch the dog's walk*: a half-dozen wind sprints. On the way back, Mitch dead stopped, per usual, about 15-20 feet from the house. I got Gretchen into the house while unspouse stayed with Mitch, and pulled the car out of the garage. That got him moving again. #success
*He used to not want to walk at all, but he's developed FOMO from watching Gretchen leave the house for walks. #dogs

If - IF - all goes well, it looks like we’ll have a companion for Gretchen in a few weeks! A Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd mix. We rescued a similar breed mix quite a few years back. “Mitch” appears to be the same in temperament, which would be excellent for Mz. G. Fingers and toes crossed for best possible outcome. #dogs
