By the grace of God, I successfully passed the interviews for a university teaching position—an achievement that has restored a small sense of hope after a long journey of hardship. I previously worked as a university lecturer for two years after graduation, having graduated first in my college. However, before I can begin this position, I must complete a relatively long training period, which is unfortunately unpaid. This places me under immense financial pressure, especially given my ongoing humanitarian and medical circumstances. I am a mother caring for my family after my children’s father was severely injured in the war. Gemma's Resistance: 1/2 T fine iodized salt 1/2 t Ajinomoto Hi Mi (or regular Ajinomoto or MSG) 2 t ground black pepper 2 t ground paprika 1 t ground white pepper 1 t ground cayenne pepper 1 t ground chipotle 1 t granulated garlic 1/4 t granulated citric acid Mix well. This will almost fill a typical spice jar of the size used by Kamenstein, Morton & Basset, or Penzey's. Try to avoid eating it straight out of the bottle. Can you please read my words until the end? 🤍 I am Nada from Gaza, and many of you know my story. First, I want to thank every person who has stood by my side, and everyone who has offered me support or a kind word during my hardest days. Today, I am trying to start over, despite everything we have lost. I am both a mother and a father to my children after their father suffered a serious injury that caused him to lose his sight in one eye and damaged the other, leaving him unable to work and carry his responsibilities as he once did. Two weeks ago, I started a training program after signing a contract to return to university teaching at the beginning of November. This program is unpaid, yet it comes with many expenses that have become beyond my ability to afford. While trying to rebuild my life, I faced a severe health crisis. I had to undergo a curettage procedure, and unfortunately, I experienced bleeding during it, which caused a significant decline in my health. I was not even able to fully cover the cost of the procedure or the transportation. I am trying with all my strength to regain my life, not only for myself, but for my children, my parents, and my family who need me. But right now, I feel extremely weak, and my body needs time, care, and treatment so I can continue. The doctor advised me to have proper nutrition, supplements, and medical care, but all of this has become beyond my ability in the circumstances we are living through. I truly need your support. Any help, no matter how small, could help me get through this difficult stage and stand on my feet again for my children and my family.
