Of course I had to look it up. City of Buffalo was named after Buffalo Creek or Buffalo River. The creek and river were named after the animal, even though there were no American Buffalo on the southern shore of Lake Erie at the time of the naming.

Yup, wife is being told she needs multiple crowns, etc. Total cost is enough for a down payment on a nice new car. 😳 And she's been using a bite guard at night.
