Nobody needs to hear this, but…
The "star" key on a telephone is actually a sextile ⚹ according to ITU recommendation E.161
Many smartphone dialers get this wrong and use an asterisk *, full-width asterisk ＊, or asterisk operator ∗

@Dangerous_beans@aus.social There are so many great dashes!
- hyphen minus ﹣ small hyphen minus － full width hyphen minus − minus sign soft hyphen (yeah, there's an invisible hyphen) ‐ hyphen ‑ non-breaking hyphen ‒ figure dash – en dash — em dash ﹘ small em dash ― horizontal bar or quotation dash ⁓ swung dash (which is not a tilde) ⸚ hyphen with diaeresis ⸺ two em dash ⸻ three em dash ⹀ double hyphen (not an equal sign) ゠ katakana double hyphen 〰 wavy dash ︱ vertical em dash
The possibilities are endless! Well, finite, but way larger than you'd think.
So it's fine for men to wear a tie, but when I wear a collar and leash it's somehow inappropriate?

It's Mel Brooks' 100th birthday. Here he is wearing a fake extra finger for his handprint ceremony.

"A free society will have more movies glorifying people fucking with the state than obeying the state," she thought as she watched 2 Fast 2 Furious
My friends tell me that I should see The Odyssey in 70mm.
But why the hell would I pay to see a movie on a screen only 7cm big⁉️ My TV at home is larger than that!
I want a personalized license plate, but apparently the government doesn't want me to show my love for Salt Lake, Utah.
What do they have against SLUT?
OpenAI loses trademark dispute at EU court
"The EUIPO found that the word “open” would be understood by the relevant public as meaning freely accessible, while the combination with “AI” (artificial intelligence) would be interpreted as referring to products based on openly accessible artificial intelligence."

I want one episode of Jeopardy that I'd call Misleading Jeopardy.
For example, "In 1849, the Lone Star Flag was designed to advocate for the independence of this territory - which later became a US possession"
All the clues would have an obvious response - and that obvious response would be wrong.

I should create a startup called Enriched Uranium, mostly for the headlines.
Meta to launch new cryptocurrency powered by Enriched Uranium
Feds probe money laundering scheme using Enriched Uranium
Microsoft to pay $1B to acquire Enriched Uranium
I need to come up with a drag name that involves "Lily"
I wanna say "I'm Lily because catgirls love me, but I'm toxic!"
I love how the implication is that the lesbian thing that will happen is getting multiple cats 😸
So many of my friends are posting about the importance of unionized workplaces, but I just don’t see the problem with ionized workplaces

The Odyssey doesn't seem historically accurate at all!

Also, everyone complains when you build studios and 1 bedrooms, so you build family-sized housing.
Then people complain that you should be building studios so that the building can be smaller 🙄
