I’m a pro at two-handed fair isle knitting. I’m a pro at intarsia. But the Project Hail Mary sweater requires two-handed fair isle WITHIN intarsia… on the purl side. Pardon me while I turn my brain inside out and desperately try to find my bobbins.

I just watched Hamnet and, as an obsessive bibliophile, I feel realllllll guilty that I liked it better than the book.

There’s this historic movie theater in my neighborhood. Today when I saw “Michael” was playing it was like that scene in Field of Dreams when Ray sees The Godfather is showing and finds out he’s gone back in time. Then I realized it’s the Michael Jackson film, not the terrible John Travolta movie.
