Write software in a way that makes it possible to fix security issues in your applications dependencies without patching your application. If possible avoid downloading of dependencies during the build process. Applications shouldn't modify their sources at build time. Don't life patch applications.

A lot of things can happen or can get much more complicated when they aren't said. Sometimes saying something can be already enough, i.e. when it's assumed that someone's feelings have changed or they are not aware of an issue. Like I felt XY in situation something, can we talk about it? It can be just fine to not do something one usually because of whatever reason.

In English the term violence is usually only used for physical violence but in general fascism uses a lot of violence that isn't physical. In American media about WW2 or just the one's who mention it as a joke they say things like it's okay to punch a German because they're all Nazi's. I think racist jokes normalize the behavior of Nazis.

There is no intelligence there, it's just a big chunk of data. The issues now exposed have always existed. It's just only now people that people who aren't technical experience those issues by themselves. I don't think that LLM's increase accessibility defacto since the confidence in which it's pretends to know what it does backfires in the end.

@aby@aus.social I was in a Finnish university. There the toilets are not separated. Just a bathroom with stalls. At first I was confused since I didn't expect that but it was nice. Somehow the bathroom was clean and calm without anyone caring for who you are. In Germany these kinds of places are usally pretty nasty.. It didn't see a difference beyond that you can just lock your door like you can in a gendered bathroom after all.

Mit der Vorbedingung man kann sich den Psychiater für den Termin zur Beurteilung leisten bzw bekommt einen Termin in der öffentlichkeit Gesundheitversorgung wenn man Glück hat. Die Versorgung ist hier zentralisiert man kann nicht einfach zu nem anderen Arzt gehen. So könnte es in Deutschland irgendwann auch aussehen.

@GermanoMassullo @johnny_bigoude @raven Pretty much the same for openSUSE. A lot of things can be transferred from one to the other. For example Fedora has fewer packages but you can get some from the openSUSE build service.

@johnny_bigoude @raven You mean Arch or Fedora? For Arch updates sometimes require manual intervention. Also while the general quality of packages is good, the quality of aur packages isn't. The latter issue is that while it's rolling release there isn't any automated testing before updates are published i.e. compared to openSUSE Tumbleweed where each wave of updates is tested first. Fedora is a solid choice from my point of view.

@dansup@mastodon.social it's nice but at some extend you still install an app just a web app once a particular page reaches a certain complexity. It does look functional but ux wise it will look allien. I appreciate thou that especially for things I only use occasionally or are so small that an app would be to much that these pages exist. Recently #edenred enforced that you have to use their app to do anything with lunch card for a website I only used maybe a few times a month.

Calling someone a Nazi, outing them is seen as a personal attack. That was one factor why a video about how to resist and act against Nazis by #DangerDan wasn't allowed to be played on public broadcast t.v.
