So if the far right drifts extremely far, the centrist center is shifting significantly rightward too. Centrism should come with a firm set of beliefs, instead of a compromise between 2 sides. Some french historians argue that this centrism in Germany led Hitler to power.

There will be an interesting presidential election to follow in France next year cause it is an in between Bolsonaro and Trump situation. Far right candidate Marine Le Pen has been convicted, however she can run for president. People will decide and we'll see if they have poor judgement ("creme de MAGA" as I call it) or not.

She thought we would not have running water and that our toilets would be outside.😂 She also discovered that hiking in France means walking 20km to the top of a Swiss mountain, not parking your oversized SUV at the peak for a 5 minute "kodak"** photo op😂
