To this day, there is still insufficient inclusion of environment costs - and typically zero inclusion of community, cultural or individual worth costs. Because they are not valued. An example, if AI destroys millions of jobs leaving communities in poverty and increasing suicide, how is that calculated in economic growth models?

So, what do you suggest a voter does once primaries are over and the choices under FPTP are corp Dems or authoritarian Reps? To me, the answer is vote Dem and work so that over time the Dems get more progressive and eventually replace FPTP. Given the rise of progressives, this strategy is gaining momentum. This isn't the time to abandon the system.

Almost certainly there is a personal kickback. Evidence? He'l slowed/stopped bombing, allowed some Iranian oil sales, is negotiating to give them millions of $ and (most damning) has complimented their leaders. To me, it looks like he's being bought. What rates, what thresholds should be a public debate. It would also force society to grapple with the concept of extreme inequality. Nothing more than 1% can ever pass until that reckoning happens. Only then can we have a mandate for income redistribution as you suggest.
