@ska@social.treehouse.systems @aelspire@aelspire.info @ariadne@social.treehouse.systems not entirely, they keep OpenRC around as an option and plenty of people (like me) use it. you can't use the big slop desktops (KDE, GNOME) with OpenRC, but something like the now anti-AI labwc https://github.com/labwc/labwc/pull/3729/changes or the anti AI river works fine! however, I do share your systemd dislike and would never install it

Somehow it seems like the Steam Deck isn't actually properly supported by (standard) Linux, if you have a Github account and want it to happen then consider upvoting this issue: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamOS/issues/2432

@mttaggart@infosec.exchange "Thoughtful" LLM code contributions seems like a myth to me. Seems like it always leads to more bugs, code rot, lower contributor engagement, and long term skill erosion and problems. Is it only me who wishes Librewolf & by extension Firefox had a better sync UI?

I don't think any sync system that involves training the user to enter the E2EE password on a website (whether it may not actually be transmitted or not) is a great idea...
