I worked for a fancy architecture firm for years, producing artistic and functional details, plans, elevations, and requirements documents to meet some of the strictest town & HOA guidelines and environmental protection standards in the US. I went to school for mechanical engineering, soil & water science, informatics, and liberal arts. I've worked in construction, gardening, coffee production, large machine installation & service, aquatic filter design & maintenance, software engineering, photography, and fine carpentry, among other roles. I can do a lot. I'm just sleepy and slow these days.

@marz@caw.corbode.com i've had some good experiences in half-lotus on a bolster, and tend to focus best in a chair, but I tend to lose feeling pretty fast in most positions except reclining or laying down.

@pewterbaw@mastodon.scot you can cut a tile and put it in with mortar. You can also just fill the hole with mortar. Just need to find a tile that matches. Cutting tile isn't the hardest thing, but it's usually done with special diamond saws that run water over the blade the whole time. For hobby projects, you can get away with a dremel and a diamond bit, but the water is pretty necessary.

@kimu@wandering.shop also, if you're immunocompromised at all, you can and should get it, no matter your age. I got shingles at age 28, and managed to get the vaccine a couple years later. It hasn't popped up again, so far. But yeah. Do not recommend getting shingles.
