I was only my AGAB because when I was filling out the forms to be born, I accidentally clicked the wrong box. I didn't realize it until I was born. I was on hold with customer service for 39 years.

I just signed up for a free email account from @Tutanota@mastodon.social . I had been concerned that the web-app-on-android experience wouldn't be good. A lot of webapps, when you try to access them on android, just bug you to get the android app.
Not so with Tuta! The android web experience seems to be something they put a lot of work into! It has all the functionality, as far as I can tell, and I actually like it better than the desktop experience!

The metrobus stations in Mexico City have benches, but if you sit at one, everyone acts like you're not in line anymore, and you will never get on the bus because there is never not a line. When I was still adjusting to the altitude here, standing made me feel like I was gonna pass out, but I had to do it to keep my place in line!

Jesus, 7.8% of deaths are caused by "accidents"? And I presume this means mostly car crashes? This is massive! And people just let that happen?? And they still think cars culture is a good idea??

I just found out that there's a new trolleybus line that stops right near my house and goes north to the chapultepec station! (line 0), I found out just in time for the weekend. Maybe I'll hit up chapultepec park.
Previously, going north was kind of inconvenient: I'd have to take metrobus line 1, which was always super packed despite using double-articulated buses! That line really needs to be a metro.
The line opened a month ago, but I didn't notice until now.

Yeah, this is a weird way for the Epoch Times to spread fascist propaganda, but I've seen fascists do it before. They have a bunch of undoubtedly-fun stuff like this, gather followers, and then slip in the occasional subtly-fascist posts as well.
This is the strategy of RT, the Russian propaganda newspaper. And I've seen some MAGA accounts do this too.
It's wild.
Is there a videogame about doing mountain rescues? That sounds like a fun subject for a video game. Like, there could be a section where you're flying a helicopter and trying to find pings from their radar reflector chips, and then there could be a section where you jump out of the helicopter and ski down the mountain. I've even been enjoying games about digging, these days!

I was walking down a river path once and the geese were hissing at people. I was used to it, but there was someone on the path that was not used to it, and they were about to turn around and use a different path, so I offered to escort them past the geese, and they got where they were going!

I lived in a college town and I often didn't wear a mask when I was outdoors, unless there were a large number of people around.
Now I live in Mexico City. There are always a large number of people around.
It took me getting a cold for the first time in years to decide to mask every time I was outside, for the whole time. That cold could have been covid and it could have fucked me up bad.
