@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange I take notes to help my memory. If I don't have it in my memory, it doesn't matter what's in the AI -- I won't remember that it exists.

For the very first time, I cooked hash browns completely from scratch.
I learned two secrets:
- After I cut the potato into cubes, put it in the microwave for 4 minutes. That softens the potato, making it ready to fry.
- The secret spice for hash browns is paprika. Use lots.
I will definitely cook this again!

@squishymage42@dice.camp I'm watching the first episode for the first time in over 40 years.
It's... spectacular. It's run on a tiny budget, but it's deeply imaginative.
I would so want to run this with a conversation alongside, so that everyone can react to Mister Rogers.

Sorry about not being more explicit.
I will point you to a map that looks very similar to the red in your map: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/mapviewer/index.html?webmap=b97f05140e3c4f7fa274e5b4115094a6
That is the percentage of population that is African American in the US.
Correlation does not imply causation, but it strongly hints that there is a relationship.

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io Mexico City is AMAZING. It's a foodie destination -- there are so many good restaurants!
And it's a great place for museums. IIRC, the only city with more museums is Moscow.
If you get a chance, visit Chapulepec Park for two reasons:
the Museum of Anthropologythe home of Emperor Maximilian

Responding to customers costs businesses money. They more that businesses can make people give up instead of reaching them, the more they save.

Yes, they did one! It's as utterly evil as the first season.
But it's clearer that the two judges had less to do with the cruelty of the games.
It's great fun, especially the one-on-one battles.

I am a fan of Culinary Class War on Netflix. And I've occasionally gotten Eli to watch it.
One of the judges is Chef Paik Jong-Won. Eli has never had his food. I'm bringing home some.
(Chef Paik runs chains of restaurants in Korea, with branches in the US. One of them is in Los Angeles' Koreatown.)

If you're serious, you will have a billion-dollar company.
The secret of being CEO is not in being smart; it is in starting the company.
CEOs would welcome anything that takes away the pain of running a company. But they won't give up that sweeeeeet paycheck.
Source: I've worked for a company that does remove needing to make decisions from C-class executives.

Personal fears
I present a brave face. But because I lost my job, part of me is utterly terrified.
I have written before that I'm a smashed-together collection of multiple personalities.
One of them is about eight years old. He's the personality most sensitive to cilantro ("SOAP IN FOOD!"). And he's my pickiest eater.
Even though I grew up in a very racist home and went to a racist school, I'm glad that few parts of that racism took hold in me. (Most of Los Angeles is a miserable place to be a racist.)
The eight-year old was feeling terribly alone and unlovable today. The rest of me is very, very grateful that Korean food is very close to what he considers comfort food: Soups and stews with strong savory flavors and rice or noodles.
But it means something weird. I don't visit Koreatown to expand my taste palate. I visit Koreatown to tell my inner eight-year old that he is loved.

I am at the Culver City Pride Ride, possibly the smallest Pride celebration I've seen. It's about 50-70 bicyclists taking an hour long ride through Culver City to Culver City Pride.
But it's a fun, light ride with good people.
