@penguinrebellion@tldr.nettime.org @mullvadnet@mastodon.online if they actually believed their own horseshit about 'testing and sifting ideas until the BEST ONES remain' maybe the racism shouldnt be on the list of diversity of ideas? OH WAIT

no no, he said glory hole.
i could call it now, glassblowing segment is the highlight of the night. looks incredible, made by a woman expert, bare hands with wet newspaper on the molten glass, and the hot spot is called the glory hole
amazing. i fucking love this show

the absolute core of the slopmonger mindset is 'its going to make you money so you shouldnt care about anything else.' they sincerely dont understand caring about anything else at all.

'these are the End Mills' all standing in a group, introduced like theyre a committee that will be evaluating you
but who cuts the cutters, they didnt address this. and why does that one get cut in a way that it looks like crumpled tissue paper ive never seen a cutting tool like that

this is an archetype of person ive met in the world where when i've talked about starting this or that community project they say 'you should go to this entrepeneurship place! how about vc funding!' and so on. their world doesnt actually contain humanity, only businessiness, and only the idea of profit (notably not actual profit)

@senanthic@mstdn.ca i have one of the open top petsafe ones, you can use clay litter in them and i add some of the crystal stuff for odor control, lots of people get rid of them for cheap because they think they have to keep using the branded expensive gel based litter, i use costco clay based.
my only complaint is that the lip of the reusable plastic tray they make doesnt do anything, its kind of implied the robot will sweep the chunkies over that lip and keep it separate from the rest, but it just ends up being an obstacle when you go to remove it all.
somewhere on the internet there exists a steel litter pan with an included broad sifter you leave in place and just pick it up and dump the chunkies all at once but it doesnt seem to be a thing i can actually order. anyway. for someone on a budget and a cat so picky she'll piss beside the box if its not cleaned every day, it has served well for a $75 investment.

#Winnipeg sunshine house is looking for sewing machines in good working order, among other things.
https://sunshinehousewpg.org/mnijan26/
If you have a sewing machine that just needs a small fix or maintenance I could pick up, fix, test, and arrange drop off if you like.
