"I've been online for longer than the internet. I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. 56k modems on fire in the light of Usenet. I watched IRC forks glitter in the dark near the Gateway 3000. All those moments will be lost in slop, like tears in rain. Time to deshittify."

Turns out I can deal with the heat by day quite fine. I cannot however deal with the heat at night 😩
The beauty of #ChaosPost is that this approach worked incredibly well #39C3
8:30 pm, I'm queueing in a large mass of people, to get into a quarry
Medication review at the GP, going through all the renewals that I need and it sounds like the big monthly supermarket shopping list.
Sometimes I ponder about that.

Nothing hurts quite like the insults you throw at yourself.

TIL canola oil (rapeseed) and mustard are also brassica
I've been at a meet up from @MinistryOfChaos@chaos.social at #39C3 to connect chaos aligned people in the UK. 👍🏼

Wait, even Nvidia says LLMs are more expensive than (senior) employees? lol, for an industry betting on the opposite.

@babe I mean, there are reasonable reason to pick a fight with the pope. Especially for non-christians (non-catholics)
(but I get your point from a US/"Christian" perspective)

TIL about the company Blizzard from Bethesda which up until now weren't names that I associated with mountain rescue. Or Wales.

@anders_von_hadern@meerjungfrauengrotte.de @tbsprs@chaos.social yeah, it's just better to remove the flags. There's too much going wrong with mapping languages to nation states.
But as someone who just cycled past the late Queen's son's house, using the US American flag is just doubly wrong 😝

@rradczewski I'm using q-mex.net for over 20 years now and it seems solid. But I don't actually know if they take new customers just for domains. Or even if they ever did.

@ciaran I did. A few months before finding out about James Watt and his toxic leadership. Ever since I've basically avoided the company and their pubs

@rradczewski yeah, I'm really distraught about this. I want new packages as soon as possible to get fixes but I also don't want to get caught out by the impostor attacks.
30 days sound already quite dangerous in the other direction
