My wife asked me to make her a dragon-sona. And of course, I can't say no to having a dragon wife, could I?
What do you think?

WIP! Doing some fanart of Drag'n Wash after all! Alexander is such a wonderful dork <3
( I might also work on a NSFW version of this artwork 👀 )
Hmm! I do wonder how that dragon-shaped paw print got on there!
As you can guess, I been playing Drag'n Wash lately, and couldn't help but draw this wonderful loveable dork.
Hm! What special service could he need? He doesn't seem dirty at all!

The Vale rarely gets visitors; Targindel’s half-sister Salama being one of the few exceptions. However, most dragons find her presence rather unsettling. Sometimes it’s hard to imagine that Gin and this unpredictable, arrogant witch are even related at all...
Expect neither pity nor mercy from Helygen. She has no patience for such foolish notions. She has lived a long life and has seen a great deal. The world is full of teeth, and you’d do well to bear that in mind if you want to survive it.
More work for my VN!
Ooookay... Last Attack of Artfight 2026. No. 11 for VDragon-Creations.
I know I couldn't get everyone, I tried my best, but there are still so many. But there is always next year! Thank you all for making this an awesome month of art!
Played the new game Drag'n Wash today. It's absolutely adorable, I love it! For... obvious reasons. I hope they add mod support sooner or later! Or some new content in the future.
It sure makes me wish my own dragon game project was already playble, so I could show it to people 😭
Attack No. 9! ... Making me break my dragon combo! But she is... dragon-adjacent, so it's not too bad 😁
Also, I wanted to experiment with more artistic nudity again, as I rarely get to do it!

Took a short Artfight break, to finish Salama's new design for her small role in my upcoming dragon visual novel, The Misfit Dragons of Hoardwater Vale.

I will say, I do enjoy the worldbuilding and storytelling in Link's new design. His outfit, with the rough, woven material, really does look like something some forest fae spirits might have put together. His tunic visually ties him down to his roots. Most Link's don't really have that.
Twilight Princess Link is a farmer. But the moment he put on that outfit, there is no visual clue to his previous life or his roots anymore. He is just "another Link" then. Same with Wind Waker or Skyward Sword.
This Link is a boy who grew up with forest spirit children. And you can see it.
Attack No. 8 for Aeris/Synth!
One more week of Artfight! I hope I got one or two more attacks in me! 😘

Attack No. 6 on RukiFox
Showing the NightWing Starlight and the SeaWing/RainWing hybrid Capybara spending some time together to gaze at the stars. Finally got to draw some more Wings of Fire fanart this way! :D

I’m tempted to do some fanart for Drag‘n Wash too. Which dragon though? 👀

Also something fun and silly from last year's artfight: WyeLeeCoyote's take on Reynardo, my suave fox bard. Well, in this case he is less suave and more... noisy. Probably closer to how an actual fox would play music, eh?
Just wonderful and funny, and too good not to share <3

And while we are it: Let's look at some more Artfight art from last year! This is a piece by MysticDreams and it is a headshot of Salama! My witch dragon continues to be very popular during Artfight, and I can't complain. I always love seing more art of her!
And I do absolutely adore MysticDream's more sketchy, textured artstyle. It is very different from my own. Where I do focus on very clean, complex linearts, I always really love and admire artist who can shape art with wild strokes, that really bring life and energy into a picture.
There is something deeply satisfying about this kind of art. Just alone how Mystic rendered Salama's horns really gives it a sense of texture that I enjoy so much. Generally the shape language is great, with the hat tip curling around like it has live of its own. It's just so fun!
Absolutely check out MysticDream's stuff if you are in the mood for some cool-ass colorful fantasy art and wild imagination. Thank you so much for your attack and I hope I get back to revenge you one of these days (I still have such a long list of people to get back to 🫣)

Sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s going on behind those big turquoise eyes. Is she really listening to me? What’s she thinking right now? Why is she looking at me like that?
But don’t worry. Yanodi probably finds you just as strange as you find her.
'Don't shoot the messenger', they say. Apparently this one got clawed at though 🤔
Gruleña, a side character for my upcoming VN, "The Misfit Dragons of Hoardwater Vale". Can't tell you much more about her just yet though! ;)
I am joining Artfight again this year with a whole bunch of new Dragons!
Have a look: https://artfight.net/~Hatwolf
Fair warning: I am fairly busy with work, so I cannot do as much as the last two years. If you attack me, please don't be sad if I can't strike back. I still bookmark you for the future though!

So #Artfight2026 is over.
I was attacked 22 times! That's 3 times more than last year! You are all crazy 😱
I managed to attack back 11 times! Which is exactly as much as last year.
My most popular characters were Malheura and Suldren, both getting attacked 5 times!
I'm sorry if I couldn't attack everyone back! I do my best, and put my everything into every picture, without rushing it or cutting corners.
Everyone who I attack deserves my full attention.
If you attacked me, you are on my list, and I try to get you something next year! ^w^
My Discord server is getting flooded with fake application from very sus profiles, ugh 😑
Same as my DMs. What's going on right now?
Hey! To our #trans and #non-binary folk out there! I need your help with something! I had a discussion with some people about representation in media, and I am looking for some opinions.
So, imagine there is a openly female trans character in an animated show or video game...
What are your personal opinion and feelings on this matter, if this character would be voiced:
a) by a cis men
b) by a cis woman
c) by a trans woman
d) by a non-binary person
Like, your general thoughts on each of those four cases. Regardless of quality of the voice acting of course. Let's assume in each of the four cases, the actor or actress in question is doing their best job, it's well acted and everything. How do you feel about the casting choice in each case?
Please also share for more reach! I want to hear from as many lovely trans folk as possible! :vlpn_happy_heart:
I am getting my ass kicked out here in Artfight! With so much amazing art! You are all unbelievable! 😭
Can't tell you how happy I am so many people draw my new group of silly dragons! Gah!!

@SteffoSpieler@fellies.social Wikipedia is a bit weird about it.
So, here is how I count it:
Starfox on the Super Nintendo.
Starfox 64 is a direct remake of Starfox of the Super Nintendo. Starfox 64 3D on the 3DS is a remake/remaster (of that remake). Starfox Zero is a remake of Starfox 64 again (Wikipedia says it's a "reimagining" instead of a "remake", but like... yeah, no x3) and then now the new Star Fox on Switch 2, which is another remake.
That's 5 games, that are essentially, the same game with the same story, just retold again and again.
I kinda get, why they remake Starfox 64 again, like, I don't think anyone would want them to make a sequel to Zero, or figure out how to continue from the 9 different endings of Commands, but like...
No game in history has gotten this many direct remakes! Counting the 3DS, this is the 5th time! 😳

@faoluin@chitter.xyz Yeah! There were two refs, one option drawing without and one drawing with armor, but it was too cool not to do it

@SteffoSpieler@fellies.social Oh, still nice. I work in the gaming industry as a concept artist, and work on my own VN currently as the main artist/writer/etc with a small team. So hopefully, that will work out x3

@SteffoSpieler@fellies.social Yeah, but I feel, the difference between a remake and a reimagining is sort of ... marketing.
Starfox Zero had the same mission and the same story as Starfox 64, just with new boss fights and alternative scenes here and there. Not too different what they do with the new game. Most called it a remake, because... that's what it is. And with Starfox 64 already being a remake of the SNES original, it's just crazy how much effort has gone over the years, to tell the same story, with the same characters, now five times. I just want them to finally move on.

@EatingHawaiianP1zza@meow.social Thank you! The character reference was actually her naked, so I had to design an outfit for her! I am happy it suits her ^w^

@SteffoSpieler@fellies.social Hey, a fellow game developer! :D
But yeah, I think Nintendo is testing the waters with the new game. It kind of makes sense from ther perspective, because Starfox Zero was tied to a failed game system and also hated for its baffling control scheme. So trying a more no-nonesense remake on a popular system is probably a better way to see how popular the game series still is.
