Finally finished the art of @JunkRaven@iwouldratherburn.com , SEKHMET-class NHP, hanging out in her subaltern!
Here she is, chilling out at a bar/Horizon Collective clubhouse out somewhere in the Long Rim, with some of her buddies.
This one took a couple of months to finish. I don't think I've ever tried something this detailed, with so much going on in the background! (I'm bad at drawing environments.)
Layout primarily done in #Blender, poster designs done in #Inkscape, and everything else done in #Krita.

I lived in that era and had a friend group that was mostly online, and lived in a small town where nobody seemed interested in the same things I was. Leaving the house meant being socially isolated I until I was home again.
I rarely took photos, because I never bothered to take a dedicated camera with me.
I only drove to places I already knew how to get to because using a paper map was too much hassle and there was a risk of getting lost.
My ADHD time blindness was constantly causing me to miss work, opportunities, and assignments because I didn't carry a calendar with me.
When I finally had access to a flip phone I installed j2me based IRC clients on it in a desperate, awkward attempt to stay connected to my friends. It couldn't multitask so every time I switched out of it the whole thing would have to reconnect.
I would awkwardly tether it to my laptop, with an external GPS module, to help me navigate for trips. It was incredibly inconvenient.
Back then I always dreamed of having a portable internet connection that I could use anywhere, and I'm not going back.
The problems with smartphones are what corporate profit motives have turned them into, not something inherently malignant about the concept. I avoid most of the bad stuff by running a non-stock OS, and I make my phone buying decisions based on compatibility with those OSes.

Update: I've managed to move everything to a new bucket and obscured it behind a proxy I can use to ban and throttle their asses if they ever try it again, which I'm sure they will.
VoDs should be viewable again.

@40796c19@void.lgbt It's a 3D model of the exterior that Valve makes available as a CAD file. The detail lines on it were done as an inverse hull with backface culling.
The book is also a 3D model made from three scans of The Rust Programming Language book stitched together. I actually went out to the local bookstore and bought the book to scan for the art because I couldn't find a good image of the spine.

This one took a couple of weeks to get done. Pretty happy with how it turned out, but a lot of last minute changes to the composition were a little sketchy. Mixing 3D and 2D continues to be a good approach for me, and the more random little background props I make, the easier it is to fill in the next background I have to do, so I'm only getting faster at it.

They're going for the public URLs of the videos in the S3 bucket, skipping the Peertube instance itself.
So I could put Anubis on my Peertube instance, but it'd only prevent them from trivially finding the URLs directly through my Peertube instance, and I'd have to be careful not to break federation by exempting a bunch of endpoints.
But then they'll probably just scrape the URLs from federated Peertube instances anyway.

I'm aware of Nightshade, but it looks like it's pretty difficult to run on Linux. And I bet even more difficult to run because I'm on AMD and this stuff is usually written for CUDA.
