The local elections are coming up. I see candidates using AI generated images to make a stand against data centres in our LGA and no one bats an eyelid 👀 Are people just dumb or am I missing something? 😭😬

I didn’t get together with my friends to celebrate my birthday back in July. In the meantime, another’s friend’s birthday went by uncelebrated. So I baked an orange cake. Served with orange slices for people who choose to not eat the CONFECTION 😅 It feels good to go slow and make something to share with friends in RL. I MISSED THAT. We shall also play #TTRPG this arv! #cake #belated #weekend
Sent a building design fee proposal off - the first in over 2 years. I am kinda nervous dipping back in... #architecture
Finished my "work" for the day, it's now time for a long lunch and then onto some composing. I want to make some sleep music to lull myself to sleep! #weekend
I have been nurturing this plant for more than 10 years. It is flowering for the first time! #bloomscrolling

Today's been very productive with The Thesis. I reckon I will be finished on Wednesday. My supervisor keeps giving me more work. Today, he asked me to make a few diagrams GAAAAAHHHH. I wanted to finish today, but no, it will take a couple more days. I feel exhausted. #PhDLife will soon be over!!!!
PhD supervisors, please be more specific when you make comments. "Rephrase" is not acceptable. 1. I sent my writing in for review, it is the best I could do and I think it's pretty good already, so do you want me to make it worse? 2. What do you mean: do you want me to add something, remove something? Address something? I am feeling really frustrated at this point - I have been stuck on this section for about two weeks and it is putting my finishing date in danger. I have spent days trying to work out what he means.... #PhDLife

@sisterratched@social.vivaldi.net This is Launceston, so that was not a thing up here. But in Hobart, they were going to move the whole thing, but now only a couple of schools moved over (AFAIK) and the rest is still at Sandy Bay - I did not keep track with this!
Fathers Day (.au edition) will make deliveries busy today. Need to work lots now to make up the time I spent finishing The Thesis. Nice day for it! #PhDLife #deliverator
