I am looking to commission a #map for a #Pathfinder 1e campaign. The setting is a large island, roughly circular, with multiple countries arranged in a ring around a central mountainous plateau wherein a Dark Force (possibly even a Dark Tower *cough*ripping off a beloved board game *cough*) is beginning to stir, threatening the entire island. A few smaller islands may lie scattered around the main island.
Any #artist out there interested in taking the commission? I can describe more if we connect. Definitely a paying job. Any takers?

#Minecraft Java Edition question: @FlintlockeBee@dice.camp and I are both experiencing disappearing XP. I was level 29 and trying to get to level 30 to put a level 3 enchantment on a tool. I cooked some food and took it out. The XP got me about 9/10 of the way to level 30. I left to get some more food to cook... and the XP just *vanished*. I tried it again -- same thing. After a few seconds, the XP just disappeared. I was able to get to 30 in one jump with a full stack, but the little excess I had also disappeared. This has been happening to both of us. What's going on?

I got the same verification click, and while the site loaded for me... it's just an empty page. The header is there, the "Log In" and "Register" are there, that's all fine, but there's no content, as if the site was in the process of being created.
I got nothing out of the site. Not a single conversation, ever. I'd be glad to wrangle with you any day you like, that's why I signed up for Mastodon in the first place.

Power's out. Using my battery power and my son's phone's wifi hot spot. Waiting for my ride to dialysis. Oh, and I partially lost my voice thanks to allergies. I sound like a pathetic mummy at the moment. What a Monday!
Well, the fuckery waited seven days, but here we go. My bank account filled when Thursday turned to Friday. I bought myself breakfast and lunch on Friday, orderd a couple books becaue I haven't bought myself anything nice in months, and gave $10 to a lupus charity... and then my debit card stopped working. Tried to make an Amazon payment; declined. Tried to get lunch this afternoon; declined. And of course it's the weekend, so I can't call the bank until Monday. No good goes unpunished...

@monkeyslunch@mstdn.ca I totally support the idea of XP for things outside of combat (and I really, really wish D&D did support that more), but the idea of "randomized" XP awards reminds me of the "game show" where they'd "lock" a bunch of people in a room with a bunch of objects and the people would try to score a certain number of "points" without knowing how the points were awarded (with the points actually being awarded by a guy in another room entirely clicking a device when a fish in a tank swam past a certain line on the tank). Not sure if I could get into that.
