Sent my latest book out to my reviewers. This is always the nervy part because they are people who will tell it like it is. They've been full of praise, with some caveats, for my last few books. Here's hoping this one lives up to the standard. I think it's brilliant, of course, but then I'm biased.

Emerland. Another version of Everdell. This was fun. Though I've never played the base game, I like the way this version builds momentum and the helpers having multiple uses is interesting.

How often do you use pure, blind luck as a plot device? Do you include randomness in your stories at all? It might make them more realistic, but it's often unsatisfying for the readers.
