It’s the perfect storm: My local #Gay #comic shop is celebrating #FreeComicBookDay tomorrow with a buy-one-get-one graphic novel sale. At the same time, two doors down, our #Queer #TTRPG and board game emporium is celebrating their anniversary with a buffet, champagne —and their own BOGO sale. It’s payday weekend. Sheesh … that’s a dangerous combination. I better make sure I complete my monthly grocery/supply run before I get anywhere *near* those twin temptations.

@lionelb @sk76 Wow. I was wondering what that was. Maybe there was a lot of flambé going on back then. I was also a bit curious about the gap between the cooktop and the oven door on the stove. I wonder if that’s a dedicated device for broiling meat and/or melting cheese (racletteur?). Perhaps it’s something less glamorous: easy access to one or more pilot lights.

@nickyttrpg Hi, internet rando here who occasionally puts “likes” on your toots. Since you asked… I think the shapes of both the brown and cream fedora-ish hats would look really flattering on you, and could easily complement various levels of casual to dressy. Also, the idea of a removable bandanna hatband intrigues me. Bandannas aren’t expensive. You could pre-fold a whole bunch in various colors and just pop one in to coordinate with whatever you’re wearing on any given day. That’s my 2¢.

Happy Pride Y'all! Just in time for the #Stonewall anniversary, #Dallas dedicated some new public art: the outer steps of the Oak Lawn Public #Library have been painted in Progress #Pride colors. More than one speaker today made it clear that this was a response to the State of #Texas ordering the destruction of our #rainbow crosswalks. Ever since that day, rainbows have been appearing everywhere else along our neighborhood's main drag. #OakLawn #Gayborhood #DallasPride #Queer #LGBT
