The Act defined who were Canadian citizens, separate and independent from the status of the British subject and repealed earlier Canadian legislation relating to Canadian nationals and citizens as sub-classes of British subject status.
So, there was Canadian citizenship before 1947, just as a sub-class of British citizenship.

In my case, I am 5th 6th and 7th generation Canadian, however, Canada was not a nation five generations before me (I'm 73 now). Hard to prove citizenship of a nation that wasn't a nation...

Are we talking phone data limits? We are on Mint Mobile, and the first year we get unlimited data, $180 for the whole year. When it renews, the unlimited plan is double that, but they have a plan with some limitations for the same $180. I have no idea if that information is helpful and hope it is.
