Yes, that was me listening to literally every sound file of elephant ethograms on this site. Basically, elephants appear to communicate in part by "rumbling" to each other simultaneously. I know this sounds facile, but once you ponder it for a while you start to realize how pernicious and constraining it is to our imaginations to confuse the present with the future.
