Saw this satire article elsewhere. Made me laugh lol.
Edit: I have learned it’s from The Daily Tism:

I’m tired of my username. I’ve wanted to change it since 2023. So made a new account on my server and made the new account an owner. Will move to @AutisticInnovator@autistics.life

I learned relations with the UK are safe and will likely not be threatened with tariffs because they’ve been a good ally with the US. Thank the universe because tariff threats with UK would harm me significantly. US and UK are where most of my sales come from.
And with those Canada Post strikes I went all of December and half of January without Canada sales, and now Canada is boycotting American companies so there goes that too. The tariffs are gone, but that doesn’t stop boycotts. At least the UK is safe.
What do those of you outside the US think about this?
I created a collection of all the stuff that prints and ships within the country the shipping address is located in.
Added a banner at the top underneath the "USA Shipped Fidgets" banner with "Not in USA? Support Made in Your Country. Click here for the Collection."

@zigi_now9@autistics.life Based on what DeepL translated, I’d say that’s accurate. Self-regeneration indeed.

@ratcatcher@beige.party It's my own idea.
The clothing also prints and ships within the EU, but due to all the laws and regulations I can't sell to the EU anymore. One reason is that I can't afford the EU accountant just to file VAT, plus all the other costs and fees.
@adelinej@piaille.fr Yay!

@RegGuy@mastodon.world There’s so much variety and so many products it’s easy to not see everything. Hopefully that collection and both banners help me stay competitive and keep sales coming in from the 4 international countries I sell to, so that people don’t boycott me.

@bytebro@mastodonapp.uk Hopefully I don't lose a lot of email subscribers now with the US boycotts. I'll try to be very careful how I word things in my Saturday email for this week.

@minego@pdx.social @m@autistics.life Understandable. Easier to help find people in the city you’re moving to that way.
@bcdavid@hachyderm.io I hope they do. That has a gigantic effect on my business. Especially the inventory I ordered that needs to be replenished.

@bytebro@mastodonapp.uk Ugh. I hope all of this doesn’t kill my business and livelihood. Guess I better go all in hardcore with finding US customers. I better wake the fuck up and find the energy and post daily to TikTok.

@bytebro@mastodonapp.uk Some stuff is printed in the US, and the clothing also prints in the UK when UK customers order from there.
