Watching the ad for the new X-Files Lego and it's sad how #Lego has devolved from a make anything with your imagination building toy into make this one specific thing from a specific kit and let it collect dust until you throw the plastic out. Are there numbers on how less reusable due to increased specialization the bricks are now?

@AskPippa Once helped produce a space show for kids at the Bloor Cinema with a gentleman named Phil after the Planetarium closed, he'd hand painted a(n accurately projected) glow in the dark starscape on the underside of the balcony. We used the big screen and the soundsystem too but that was all gone when Hot Docs took over. Yes we need more connection with the night sky or people won't even know what they've lost!
My cat is very smart she barfed during the night in the non carpeted area I always pick her up and set her down in when I catch her gagging. And there was just a small patch of liquid on the carpet on the way there from where she sleeps on a turboball toy so she woke up during the night gagging and intentionally went there

@Nonya_Bidniss@infosec.exchange That tracker blocker sounds pretty sweet. You can in fact sandbox proprietary apps from either the Play Store or Aurora in Graphene profiles as well if you choose to do that. Setup sounds a bit like what Qubes does, I prefer to stick with the FOSS stuff.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social for example you can just plug your #Pixel into their website and transition easily. Not sure what's good recently for Samsung users. #Apple people, you're on your own. #Resist

Interesting framing although "Speech Acts" seems like an unnecessarily narrow framing of agency down to the moral stance/status of promises or intention here.
