Indigenous-owned Air Creebec already owns 20 Dash-8s and I'm sure would be delighted to offer a very affordable charter contract to the province in order to pimp one up for VIP travel and dedicate it to the province just like CargoJet pimped up one of their 767s for Drake.
But. . . . Doug Ford might still be stinging from his 2019 scandal where he wanted to spend $50k pimping up an OPP Sprinter van for his official road trips.

Ontario airports with runways that can handle a Challenger 650: Pearson, Ottawa, Hamilton, North Bay, Windsor, Thunder Bay, and *maybe* Timmins with the right winds and weather.

@mayintoronto The sequence of history is important here.
Pomplamoose launched on YouTube in 2008 and pushed the boundaries of how much you could monetize a channel on that platform in that era. They launched Patreon in 2013 as a platform for monetizing Pomplamoose further.
About halfway between forming the band and forming the platform, they talked to the BBC about their efforts to monetize: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-12382785

But, my brother's fly-in community's airport would have to double their runway length and also pave it.

Over the years, I've been recommending the Anker 323 (A1334) because of its fire-proof casing and polymer cell for aviation safety, but it's really really really hard to find these days.

Let's assume that PM Mark Carney seeds the sovereign wealth fund with $25B by looting the surplus from the CPP, and matches the growth rate of the CPP investments until the end of his government in 2034. Even if he adds no additional money, it would grow to $50B by then.
How do you think PM Doug Ford would spend $50B in 2032?

@z3r0fox - The island airport runway is currently 1,216m in length. The Challenger 650 requires 1,720m, and Canadian regulations require an additional 900m of safety extension at each end of a jet runway.
The island runway would have to grow from 1,216m to a minimum of 3,520m for a Challenger 650 to safely operate.
