Lots of weird dreams last night but the one I remember was: I was sooo excited about the new group I was working with. They were such retrocomputing fanatics that our online chat was UPPERCASE ASCII ONLY LIKE IT'S 1978 OR SOMETHING
@AlSweigart@mastodon.social high five! Thanks for joining me in offering a donation match for this great regional Python conference.
Folks, if you haven't yet, please make your support of @pyohio@fosstodon.org go twice as far by donating today:

@pathunstrom@ngmx.com so I'm using a slightly modified dykes in this 6800 computer simulator with a line-based terminal UI. Compared to what I mentioned in that PR, I started using my own parser instead of shlex.
Now, I'm wondering if there's any pathway from this to tab completion in python's readline ... if you have any thoughts I'd love 'em.

I have a Pi 4 with Octoprint, based on raspbian 11. It frequently nags that Python 3.9 is outdated...
so today I'll do the "not guaranteed to work" updates from bullseye->bookworm->trixie via apt.
I also finally got out one of my spare tasmota AC relays so I can power switch the printer & lights off when not in use...
Where in the world are the early reviews of the #Prusa3d #bondTech INDX toolchanger? I know to take such reviews with a tablespoon of salt, but I'm really surprised there aren't a raft of youtube videos out there from folks who got shipped early units by Prusa specifically so there would be video reviews out at the same time the thing went in the store.
Of course, since Saturday it also went back out of the store reportedly due to selling through an initial production run.
