Zero 2 W to zvládá překvapivě dobře. 😋 #Prusa #MK4S #RaspberryPi #MediaMTX #GStreamer #3Dprinting #diy

I've had pinball leg mounted drink holders since early 2000s, although those were pretty crude DIYs back when consumer 3D printing wasn't a thing. My very first take was just a piece of steel bent into a shape on L with holes for the leg bolts and then a ring big enough for a soda bottle welded onto that. As my collection grew, somewhere in early 2010s the Pingulp was released. Not that it was an unique idea even then, but it was a good product. I own around 30 of those. At that point I had migrated from energy drinks to coffee and got used to having my coffee mug there. Over the years the product got revised, the version 2.0 no longer fit the mug perfectly and by the 3.0 it was useless to me. I had made my own variant when learning OpenSCAD back in the days, but saw no point in 3D printing something that was cheap and readily available. Until now. So here's my version resurrected and redone with #freecad. It's intended to be cheap, customizable via color painting in slicers and easy to print. After some prototypes I think I have a model that works in arcade use as well. If you need one, here's the model: https://www.printables.com/model/1841594-pinball-drink-holder-fits-cans-bottles-and-coffee #pinball #3dprinting

Opened a new brand spool of clear PETG and I'm tuning the settings to make it more clear. This one (Sunlu Clear) doesn't like to operate at its top rated temperatures but lower ones seem fine, except it can't take faster speeds. So cold and slow it is. 260 and 240 celcius examples. #3dprinting #filament

Here's a slot machine reel for WhoDunnit pinball machine I printed earlier with my Snapmaker. It has a lot of wear in the jackscrews, which shows in a print like this. I'm hoping this a lot fresher Prusa MK4S can make me better ones. #3dprinting

Thank you everyone who contributed! I added a brim and ensured there are no draft in the room, and now the part printed without any warping or peeling. <3 #3DPrinting

I want to print a couple of little fidgets that I can keep in my hip pack for kids to use as a mental break. I’m imagining something simple with magnets. Any favorites from the #3DPrinting folks?

I have made a cringe whoopsie. I found this really pretty statue of Aphrodite on Thingiverse forever ago and I loved that she had long very curly hair like my fiance does. So I printed it and included it in a few altar locations in the house. My buddy has been trying to get back in a relationship for a while now and I thought "Oh, hell I have these cool statues of Aphrodite set to print on demand. I should make him one as a charm to bring about love" So I did and I gave it to him and he goes "Why does she have 6 fingers?" 🙃 So, after I told my nurse of a fiance about them being AI generated, they took one and looks it over and gave me a fun anatomy lesson and I learned a whole bunch of new things that AI can't get right on a 3D model of a person. So if anyone has recommendations for Aphrodite statues or a good source for other gods that I can 3D print. Please let me know! It doesn't need to be historic art it just needs to not be AI I currently browse a lot of Geoffrey Marchal's work as he does 3D scans of statues, but they often kinda suck to print. https://www.thingiverse.com/GeoffreyMarchal/designs I also like mediu3D on Cults for their busts. I have Hypatia and Plato busts on standby to hand out to people who want to join Plato club https://cults3d.com/en/users/mediu3D/3d-models #pagan #3dprinting #gods #polytheism

My favorite little moment with the Prusa CORE One L is changing print sheets. Swapping them feels a bit like changing vinyl records — putting one back in its sleeve and picking the next one. If Prusa sold the sheets in simple cardboard sleeves, like vinyl records used to come in, it would be such a nice little touch. And I probably would’ve bought a bunch more of them by now. #3dprinting #prusa #diy #vinyl #vinylrecords

@scarlett@gamepad.club Don't be mad, was thinking about this and remembered they usually do this arc so there's no corners in the lighting. So tried making and #3dprinting my own 😆 Version one tends to tip, sadly.

For version 2 I extended the trunnion, made it thicker, and added a little support on the back. Works fine now. It can almost hold up and entire sheet even! @scarlett@gamepad.club Sorry again for high-jacking your post. I'll make my own next time, promise. #3dprinting

The new hub clamp, assembled with the ball-bearing and spring salvaged from the original. It was a delicate and scary operation getting the spring on there. The new one is nearly as fragile as the decomposed original. #3dprinting #retrocomputing

@futurebird@sauropods.win I am a #3DPrinting expert & it would not be potential because of the different melting points imagine if you house could melt at 190•C that’s what PLA does
