@opensource 👀 Ik ben heel benieuwd wat er dan in die kamerbrief zal staan over de stap naar MS365 en over het uitbesteden van de BTW. Daarvan krijgen we al een inkijkje in dit iBestuur artikel. Men wil (de medewerkers van) Fast Enterprises zodanig Europees maken dat het niet meer onder Amerikaanse jurisdictie valt. Dit moeten we met argusogen in de gaten gaan houden.

Daughter 1 yesterday said she wanted to go to the Bevrijdingsfestival tomorrow in Assen to see Hannah Mae on the main stage. Daughter 2 said funny, she was last year on the main stage also. Daughter 1 showed us her Gemini output. Daughter 2 the event timetable. Gemini was clearly hallucinating, combining the 2025 en 2026 timetables. That learned her to never trust LLM's and always inspect the source.

@bartgroothuis@mastodon.online goed dat je dit aankaart, maar we moeten het ook niet overdrijven. Veel van de kwetsbaarheden die gevonden worden hangen van afhankelijkheden aan elkaar. A & B & C moeten in gebruik zijn en dan loop je er tegenaan. In de praktijk zie je die combinaties dan niet veel terug. Waarmee ik niet wil zeggen dat er niets aan de hand is, maar het is ook niet zo dat de deuren wagenwijd openstaan. Open Source lijkt hier nu even gevoeliger voor, maar dat wordt hier alleen maar beter van.

@bert_hubert@mastodon.nl De KVK is een tijd geleden al overgestapt op Salesforce, maar die hebben wel degelijk DKE toegepast. Echter, dat heeft ook zijn nadelen. De frontend applicaties in de SF-cloud moeten toch de keys bevatten om bij de data te kunnen. Het is dus eigenlijk een wassen neus.

@bert_hubert@mastodon.nl Ter verdediging, zoals je wellicht ook weet zijn dit processen die al jaren lopen. Die stop je niet zomaar. Wat je, na de vernietigende moties, wel zou verwachten natuurlijk. Het alternatief is nog een aantal jaar stilstand, want als ik het goed begreep kunnen we niet eens meer een nieuw BTW-tarief aanmaken. En daarmee praat ik het niet goed, maar het gaat wel om het sturen/stoppen van een mammoettanker. En wat mij betreft hebben we reden genoeg om dat inderdaad te doen.

@bartgroothuis@mastodon.online Ik zeg ook niet dat er niets aan de hand is. We zullen het in de IT de komende tijd erg druk hebben. CVE's moeten gemonitord worden, snel en regelmatig patchen. Bedrijven die dat niet doen lopen zeker risico's. Maar ik blijf ook bij mijn eerdere opmerking. AI is heel goed in combinaties van code zoeken. Dat levert vaak geen wagenwijd open deuren op, maar specifieke afhankelijkheden. Als we die snel patchen zoals we de afgelopen weken hebben gedaan draait de wereld gewoon door.

@opensource Fantastisch natuurlijk dat dit openbaar gemaakt is. Het was en is echter een momentopname. Gepubliceerd en gelijk gearchiveerd op 14 mei 2024. Wel mooi om te zien dat er via een omweg een commit geaccepteerd is. Maar als we willen weten wat de huidige staat van DigID is zullen we dus wederom een WOO verzoek moeten doen. Ik denk dat 14 mei 2026 daar een mooie datum voor is.
