Every single item in this list could build up to a single point of failure and it's probably worth a full blog post.
I don't want to say don't selfhost, but running solely #forgejo doesn't cut it in the very long run. That's why people offer services on the Internet so you don't have to. And these services cost time and money.
Just incorporate this thought into your shouting for selfhost.
