Even with perfectly proportional electoral system elected individuals tend to reflect the worldview and education level of the general population. Turnaround at the recent elections was merely the last straw. Underlying economic and social issues combined with uselessness of the Dem leadership played a much bigger role. Even if Harris would win the problem would return in 4 years.

I really enjoyed the first 3 seasons of TV series with a few caveats – Holden's white saviour attitude becomes a running joke at about the third time he does it. Naomi is hopelessly miscast. My favourite character of the show – Drummer – is I believe a composite of several characters from the books.

Jedyne pytanie które powinnaś sobie zadać to "czy beat brzmi tak jak chcę?" Jeżeli nie to czego brakuje w porównaniu z kawałkiem czy stereotypem gatunku na którym się wzorujesz lub też brzmieniem które słyszysz w głowie. The Peleset/Philistines were likely not Canaanite nor even Semitic. Romans renamed province of Judaea to Syria Palaestina after Bar Kokhba rebellion.

Not sure about German but for example Polish one is the same. No elections under martial law or state of emergency. This was kind of important during the COVID-19 lockdown for example.

@benroyce @moz @idahobucks Voting tactically on a lesser evil is better than not voting at all. But Overton's window shifting is a real thing. And last election's bad option may be the lesser evil of the next. Average electoral district for the Representatives is around .76 million people. Successful campaign inherently requires a lot of money, connections and favours. This favours corporate candidates over progressives and coincidentally older candidates. Last but not least i don't think US can vote itself out of the current kerfuffle.

The trick was to push all the blame for the lost war on them and promise to solve that problem and then return Germany to the rightful place in the world and make Germany great again. You find a group that's already resented by the society at large. Also – I'd not compare the ICE and the rest of DHS to SA. to me that looks like the RSHA already.

While i think that casting of Lupita Nyong'o was an inspired choice Nolan made several aesthetic choices that break my immersion and take away any pleasure from watching.
