@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club I always replace woke with fair makes them sound extra insane. Also the asshats wouldn’t last 10 seconds in a “warrior” culture.
A bit more laid back than usual.

Late getting back from #Chicago from seeing #Hum, #Nothing, and #Chapterhouse. Chapterhouse were great giving a bit of a rougher version of themselves, Nothing was good wasn’t overly familiar with the album the played in full. Hum crushed everyone, magnificently heavy and dreamy. Surprised by how young the crowd was for Hum. Great time and the Aragon Ballroom was far better than I remember. #LiveMusix
Watched this when it was first on. #TipperGore had no chance with #JelloBiafra. Well all of the #PMRC was outclassed by the musicians.

Is there anything worse than having to listen to some guys seriously discussing beer?
Who has the time to assess 14 albums a week beyond your regular listening? And this is just Pitchfork I get similar stories / emails from at least 4 other sites that really don’t crossover. So I’m supposed to critically assess 40+ releases every week? Sure you can sample quick through them but as I’ve said that seems like work. #MusicLisening

@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club that and the price of the tickets. It’s nuts, but FIFA figured everyone would pay surge prices. Considering gas in the US is $5-6 a gallon USD and it’s generally below $3 people here are just going to stop going to big ticket events. Now add airfair and hotel costs to the political atmosphere and people are going to stay away regardless where they’re coming from.

Neither of these two have a leg to stand on saying someone is awful. Both have been terrible to people throughout their careers.

It’s the 52nd anniversary of #BlueŐysterCult’s ‘Secret Treaties’. If you ask me the greatest moment in their recorded history is ‘Flaming Telepaths’ into ‘Astronomy’ to end the album.

@platenworm@mastodon.nl I was in a band that opened for Smashing Pumpkins pre-Gish. Billy was a complete asshole even back then. Never heard a positive story from anyone about him after that either. Courtney just seems to want to talk shit about anyone and everyone for her own promotion.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social well their albums — for me — tend to be a handful of good to great songs and the rest is bad to fine.
Replying to
@derthomas@metalhead.club @HailsandAles@metalhead.club this would mostly be filled with songs from my top 3 and a few from Orgasmatron. I'm not a huge fan of the early albums they're just not as powerful as Ace of Spades and forward. No Sleep versions I find superior for the early stuff.

@AdmSnackbar@mastodon.social @MostlyHarmless@thecanadian.social I would , my wife’s a doctor, I know a number of them. I know boards if you don’t know how to do the specialty you won’t pass them. Some are more difficult than others.
Now how the doctor practices, how much they care, how much they keep up with new methods, what crazy religious or political views bend their treatments that’s the dumb part just like every other job.
