I just wanted to let you know that I will be on holiday for 2 solid weeks, starting now.
Knut is already in the right mood.

@fistfulofdave@mastodon.social really? Now I want to buy a (physical) single just for the thrill of it.
While you were busy listening to all your depressive Grunge, I had this bad boy in the 90s:
Backlit sunflowers 🌻

I really need some dirty sounds now. This will do 👇
🎵 Vibrator by Motörhead
💿 On Parole, 1979

My son is participating in an art competition this year, so if you have a minute to spare you are welcome to vote for him.
His contribution is #34 and I guess you can tell that he loves black. It looks a bit like a post atmospheric black metal album cover. 😂

You can be anything you want to be.
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be.
Be free with your tempo, be free be free.
Surrender your ego be free, be free.
To yourself.

Hi! I just wrote a blog post about my most important albums of 1991. Read it if you like.
Sometimes when Knut is humping his pillow he falls over headfirst. It's hilarious.

@MetalheadDana@metalhead.club I'm cishet & white and that country is a huge fuck no for me at the moment.
Something mellow for #MusicWomenWednesday

Why is it called footpath and not legpath?
I just remembered when my grandma read Bambi to my sister and me when we were little. She burst into tears so badly my sister and I had to comfort her. And we absolutely didn't understand why. Kids, huh?

@tomroberts@metalhead.club @brh@metalhead.club those are the best ones. The ones that take some time.

@miona@toot.lgbt this is an impossible task. People will be unsatisfied either way.
I believe in "innocent until proven guilty", but I know that that doesn't work on social media and the Fediverse.
Also we mainly judge the bits and pieces we see and we will never see the full picture. When I see a "good person" is friends with a controversial person, I trust their decision more than what I read on social media. Because they know them better.

@Kitty the explanation is simple: having ice cream on the pation in the sun is awesome.

"Fahrscheine! Fahrscheine bitte!"
Absolut genial, viel Spaß damit 😂
Turns out my wife told everyone to vote for the wrong number... I guess now it is only fair if my original toot gets a boost? 🔄
Thank you very much! 🙏
Oh, and it is no. 34!

@fistfulofdave@mastodon.social @HailsandAles@metalhead.club I just love the dirty sound of the early albums.

@wendigo oh yes, that's undeniably his art. It's a combination of "I don't like to paint but I do like black and I do want to win" 😂

@thomas@metalhead.club sach mal... wer hat denn den Pull Request reviewed und das nicht bemerkt? 😜

@Kitty oh he does fall behind quite often, usually when he sensed something interesting. When I’m far enough ahead that the lead is taut and he doesn't catch up, I either do a Freddie Mercury "eeeey oh!", whistle, or I'll neigh like a horse. That usually works 😂

@alicemcalicepants@ohai.social yeah that was a lesson learnt for me too. Never set a song you like as a ringtone.

@avi_miller I'd love to know how they came up with that part. But then I can imagine Freddie saying something like "this needs a flamenco part, darling".

@jake4480@c.im awesome! Kids nowadays will never know. And the smell of the tape was so good.
Bonus: now you know the German word for pencil 😂
Pssst you!
Yes you!
It's #BandcampFriday
Please excuse me while I will now purchase one album on #BandcampFriday purely based on the album cover.
Replying to
@fistfulofdave@mastodon.social is it still possible to buy singles? As in physical media?
If you could only buy 1 album for #BandcampFriday what would it be?
#ThursdayFiveList asks for #RareAndUnusualWords and I'm gonna choose songs from this year which I find listenworthy. Also, since tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday, consider these my recommendations. They are 100% Thomas certified.
1️⃣ Aletheia - Wildhunt
https://wildhunthrash.bandcamp.com/track/aletheia
2️⃣ Alostrael - Green Lung
https://greenlung.bandcamp.com/track/alostrael-be-my-babalon-2
3️⃣ Mortercheyn - Hellripper

4️⃣ Occluded - Ritual Arcania

5️⃣ Nyctophobia - Total Annihilation

#BandcampFriday #Wildhunt #GreenLung #Hellripper #RitualArcania #TotalAnnihilation
So here's what I got for #BandcampFriday
There were actually 2 albums I got purely because of the album cover. Can you guess which ones?
