One thing I've learned is that my awfulness at math also extends to music. In the sense that if you are one of those metal bands that has equations as song names, I already know it's probably not for me. Cause your gonna be all like blippidy bloopidy skoodly woodlly screech screech fiddly diddly on the guitar and my neanderthal brain will not know how to head bang to that.

@filmfileuk@mastodonapp.uk Tau Zero is a short hard scifi novel written by Poul Anderson about what happens when a ships accelerator near hyper drive breaks and keeps piling on speed and can't be fixed. I read it a few years ago and it still lives rent free in my head.
