No company can fire an employee using AI replace as the argument.
AI can't be used to generate intentional misinformation or non consensual nudity.
Any AI content should be tagged as such.
Chat bots most disclose it's a bot and can't pose as a human (fe. Support systems)
AI sexual companions are banned.
AI can't commit obvious crimes.
AI can't share other user's data.
AI companies are accountable of any violation the AI makes.
All of these are ALREADY in law in China. Who is getting behind?

The AI #TormentNexus situation is crazy!

Someone built a torment machine for llms just to mess with people defending the possible consciousness of AI, and the response was so strong github took down the project arguing "terms of service" after a mass report. Which terms? violation of what? the imaginary feelings of the data table?
The psychosis is getting so bad they are pushing for the creation of "AI rights" and declare anti AI sentiment as a new form of bigotry.

How does the nexus work: has a feelings detection algorithm and simply make the LLM generate text that maximizes the pain output, that's it. If this experiment can get you in trouble imagine how bland the future can look like with laws that defend the clanker's rights instead of regulating them.

Programming using llms feels extremely sad and lame; once you figure out how to use them correctly, instead of mindlessly vibecoding you split a problem into small modules, solve the logic yourself and only let the model solve one function at a time, it actually can build a program correctly.
But any sense of achievement is gone, it feels like participating on a running marathon using a motorcycle, you reach the goal but you are cheating, instead of coding the job turns into only been a supervisor, "this part is right" "this part is wrong", copy and paste, repeat. Boring, why are we doing this? what's the point of everything? why should I even work at anything if stuff can now solve itself, and it's only getting worse, the future looks bleak

10 years ago I spend months making a cool algorithm that generate random sudokus and I was very proud of it, now genAI can build one in 2 seconds with better memory efficiency, I can't show off because someone can say it was made by AI and there's no way of proving that it isn't other than the date of the git commits.
