Even though this is the most recent book translated I am curious to see how it plays out since it came out before the other two books in japan.

I really was not feeling this game at first as it seemed really shallow. But after the first couple hours and doing some multiplayer with @rogue@melonbread.xyz@melonbread.xyz it is really starting to grow on me (no pun intended) and is quite deep and effort went in. Though I will say after playing this this 100% feels like The #Pokemon Company's answer to #PalWorld

Wow I think that is the first time I finished a novel in less than 8 hours.
This book is fine, barley holds a candle to Eathings IMO but still very good in its own right. Way more chilled out and relaxed compared to Eathings as well. Even if the protagonists from both books are both undiagnosed Autistic females trying to make it through life. This book lacking chapters really threw me for a loop and is maybe why I did not stop reading really through the down time of my day.
All in all I am glad this book could walk so Eathlings could run.

Half way through this first season and it is okay it is not the deep historical drama I want centered around medicine but it will suffice till I find something else by the time i finish it.

I hit credits in this game so I figure I would go ahead and rate it.
Wow just wow easily my "Game of the Year", as this was the roguelike game I have been wanting to get lost in for years. It does everything so well with there less is more design. I know why they don't but I do wish there was a way to roll back just a move action because SO MANY times did I miss click and move one spot next to to where I wanted to be.
I know I said I hit credits but the game claims I am roughly 33% complete with the game and their is a whole other act I have yet to even finish. It is crazy how much content is in this game, and their have been talks of DLC which gets me even more excited for new content.
I am 80 hours in and I still get excited to play this game even for a little bit every day. Well worth the $30 (USD) price tag.

It is like the creative team was afraid to tell a story. There is a lot of good in this game but man is it dragged down by the following:
- Inconsistent pacing
- Grace is insufferable
- lol What bosses
- Game not following its own rules
- Recycling the same "zombies" over and over.
- Kind of short for even for a #ResidentEvil
- That price tag for what they give
- 5 layers of DRM
- Really really bad enemy AI
- Puzzles that are more of a slog than interesting
- Wanting me to POG at every Leon part when there is a callback to a previous games that feels unearned
- And so many other paper cuts
All in all I do recommend this game if you can get it on a good sale, but I really feel this game is over-hyped and seen as the second coming because the current gaming landscape is starved for a decent game. Probably would have dropped it if not for joking will @rogue@melonbread.xyz@melonbread.xyz as I steaming to her.f

Crazy how a movie I watched in my teens and cultural osmosis can take a lot out of the "umph" this book tries to bring. Even if that movie is not the best way to experience this story it does hit the major story beats to where reading the book just feels like going through the motions as there is not real intrigue or sense of discovery while reading the book.
Also does not help I think the humor is kind of one note and verbose for the sake of it. Like many times I just would find myself going "yeah I get the joke" with a complete straight face and am just ready to move on. I did find it odd how the illustrations, while cool in style, did not really add much to the experience of uncovering the world for me which is a first. I would look at it and just go "Yup, I guess that is how it would look".
Maybe I built this book up in my head and expected more but it is just the couple of jokes that wannabe internet funny men have been parroting for decades. I don't regret that I read the book and want to keep giving the series a go because I want to love it. Good thing I know very little about later entries in the series.

Nice to know they are able to make another Uncut Gems-like. I wonder how many more times they are going to reskin that concept. Mr Wonderful did a pretty good job even if he just played himself with a new name.

Pretty good Dialysis slop to look forwad to on Saturdays. Even if most of the Neighbor "disputes" just boil down to one of them just breaking the law and the other neighbor is like "please dont" until the law gets involved.

While I did enjoy this book more than the first one, I really get the vibe that author really does not like any of the characters they have written.
It is funny I noticed the EXACT moment my ADHD Hyperfocus dropped playing Yu-Gi-Oh video games and now I am just lost on what to play to pass the time while at my desk.
Crazy Capcom will put so much garbage DRM on #ResidentEvil 9: Requiem and you can still just "get around it" by doing a bunch of HyperVisor none sense with a 15MB~ crack.

Ended up taking my old PC and refactoring it to a "#Steam Machine" to try and save some money if the official Steam Machine is super high priced (which it will be).
Ended up going with #Bazzite because that is what a lot of wannabe normies talk about when they joke about installing a #Linux based OS for gaming. So after about 5 minutes of research I decided the -deck variant was the way to go since all I wanted was a Steam Deck experience permanently hooked up to my living room TV.
After the install to my surprises I got exactly what I wanted. Went right into Steam Big Picture and was able to set everything up via controller and everything just kind of works.
Even the #KDE Plasma "Desktop Mode" is exactly what you would want as it is set up 98% the same as the Steam Decks. The Bazzite control app or whatever it is called is pretty great because it gives you one click options for doing any extras you would want such as enabling SSH. installing Decky Loader, auto-mounting ext4 drives on boot, and a lot more. It has only been 24 hours with the system but it is pretty much what I would want as "Steam Machine".
The case is a bit bigger than I want but there is not much options in HTPC cases that support the size of the extra video card I was using.

https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/4BqLAqGGFBGHqcaf12Q5HU
This maybe one of my favorite books I have read in ages. I could easily see myself finishing in a day if I did not force myself to wait.
I normally read to help myself sleep but fuck man the two nights I tried to do that with this book I just kept going. I have not had something hit me this hard since Goodnight Punpun.
While also nailing the fact I said this was Haruhi through a realistic lens, I was also floored where this book told me. During the whole book I just wanted Sazuki to find her happiness whatever that meant, & even with its ending and last page I still hoped she had found it.
I may have to put the ManCarryingThings list on hold while I read this other authors work.
finished watching Project Hail Mary 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
https://log.melonbread.xyz/movie/41UlxsHjfxgveP7glXGbI0
Everything that took place on the ship was done fine enough though every flashback was butchered to smithereens. Crazy how they cut out ALL SCIENCE explanation for anything done so things "just happen" or things "just get named" kinda weird. Though I can not imagine a better adaption for super normie mom audiences. Which fun fact my mother loved this movie so mission accomplished.

So re-watched this movie just to see how it holds up after reading the book, an man is the casting just spot on IMO. I think they pretty much nailed every member of the main crew. Though I get why this movie got a lot of hate as it pretty much ads what I will can fanfic in the second third of the movie due to needing to extend the run time (as to be honest very very little happens in the first book when you break it down), but I do not know what else they could have done really. There was A LOT of random changes that seemed to happen to tell a self contained story because it did not seem they were interested in making any more movies, but all in all I feel the people who made it really did like the source material and wanted to do the best job they could.

I know I am late to the party on this game but after playing the god awful #Medabots Survival mobile game that got a global release a couple weeks back, I figure instead of giving them any of my money it would be better just to buy this game with DLC. And so far I am enjoying it here and there. I kind of wish the game was a bit faster pace or could turn up the speed but aside from that it is pretty solid and get the love for it. Also enjoying the occasional CO-OP run with @roguq@melonbread.xyz@melonbread.xyz .
LOL Someone threaten to contact Gamer's Nexus on me over the phone because they can not read warranty information. Like is this the new meta threat to try and get what you want when stomping your feet does not work?
Not that anyone really cared but me, but see no point in posting translation release any more with Myrient going down
What was that?
Did they like forget Pokemon had a 30th Anniversary?
wants to play Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/0O7dS3DwDvMvuske6jnVh3
Played the Demo today and it is exactly what I wanted which is just more #TomodachiLife . Excited for it to come out and LOVE the updated Mii Maker features as I think people will be able to make some really cool Miis. I do find it interesting for a game that lives by its shareable moments does not let you update clips from the Switch Album online. Guess they were afraid of what people would make the Miis say
