At this point the entire concept of CVE's is just ridiculous:

If you program, you should read this piece.
"Ada's successes — the aircraft that have not crashed, the railway signalling systems that have not failed, the missile guidance software that has not misguided — are invisible precisely because they are successes. The languages that failed visibly, in buffer overflows and null pointer exceptions and data races and security vulnerabilities, generated the discourse. [Ada did not]"

For the longest time the serial baudrate was matched to the mechanics. Only with the advent of microprocessors did the need for flow-control arise.
And CR taking longer time was not a problem, because it also took longer time on the senders teletype.

I wonder if Guinness Book of World Records is paying attention tonight, because there's going to so much beer rented out, that it may well become a world record.

My AutoArchaeologist toolkit can turn the LIF filesystems into static HTML files so you can spelunk the contents.
Example:

And for reference: The batteries peak power delivery corresponds to that of seven EPR-II nuclear reactors.

I think that's unfair ?
Everybody charged DoD 10x "because of Ada" - simply because they could get away with it, provided Ada didn't become mainstream.
The perverse incentives of military procurement is not in any way a relevant factor, when Judging a programming language, as programing language.
The point about everybody else converging on where they could have started 45 years ago is IMO, totally fair.

This is pretty brutal:
»Of 21 high-income countries, the UK is one of only five that saw healthy life expectancy fall between 2011 and 2021, and had the second steepest decline. As a result, the UK has fallen from 14th to 20th out of these countries – only the United States now has a lower healthy life expectancy.«
That adds an entirely new meaning to the "Special Relationship between UK and USA"

Not to mention EU's revision of the Product Liability Directive, a revision they undertook only and specifically to apply "no-fault" product liability to software in the consumer market.
Coming to your EU-country later this year...

Yeah ? But the way a mafioso deals with details like that, is to make it somebody else's urgent problem.
And to a mafioso who think everybody is mafia: Surely the head Norwegian mafioso can and will explain their misunderstanding to that committee, once he realizes that otherwise the Big Mafioso gets very disappointed."
It's really that simple...

Ok, I think I got it now.
The interleave is:
[0, 9, 18, 27, 4, 13, 22, 8, 17, 26, 3, 12, 21, 30, 7, 16, 25, 2, 11, 20, 29, 6, 15, 24, 1, 10, 19, 28, 5, 14]
I've also added a very rudimentary BASIC-detokenizer (git pull to get it), and updated the output here:
https://phk.freebsd.dk/misc/LIF9133/_index__HP85_20Basic.html.html
(Bedtime in Denmark now :-)

Now we just need an examiner for the AutoArchaeologist to list the HP-BASIC programs

The fastest way to find out, is probably if you send me the image, but I can also walk you through the setup so you can run AA yourself.
(I've never finished the proper python packaging so it's a bit manual)

Why are you surprised about this ?
In the last decade Tech-Bro's have worked determinedly to render all courts of justice impotent, so they could roam with impunity, not only economically, but also (a)socially.
Did you expect nation states to just throw up their hands and go "never mind about equal justice for all" ?

Interesting example of a USAnian assuming that courts in civilized countries are the same as in USA :-)
I suggest you look up "The American Rule" ?
Nobody but USA have that idiotic (and grossly unfair!) rule, so frivolous lawsuits is a much more expensive hobby, and wasting the courts time is not a good career move.

Hmm, i think there's still something not quite right about the interleave: I'm seeing too much 0x6d 0xb6 in places it should not be.
Or maybe there is a bad-block remapping we need to figure out.

I dont know how robust the LIF excavator is, I have only written/tried it on good images, but the general idea of AA is to handle whatever you throw at it, as well as possibe.

It was fun, insightful and educational to be at #Ipres2026.
But I had to pay the conference fee myself, because datamuseum.dk could not afford it.
I urge #ipres2027 to find some way to make a few affordable tickets available to local digital preservation grassroots.

Again, what I, as EU citizen take home from this, was that it took mere hours for PædoPOTUS Rex to throw the spanner in the works, and that it was not blindlingly obvious to everybody, including the enforcers at the border, that it had to come out again.

They may have uttered it, but where I come from (DK/EU) it's mostly used about provinces and former colonies having had enough.
And that, to me, is the perfect analogy of people finally demanding freedom from the enshitifcators.
