The phrase "less than meets the eye" ought to feature in any attempt to understand #Trump's brain, but I just want to be sure, in light of his letter to the Norwegian PM.

1. You did not stop "8 Wars PLUS". You can't even name the countries, or describe what those wars were about.

(1a. WTF is "PLUS"? Are you acknowledging that you don't even know the actual number?)

1. You are admitting out loud that the only reason you gave a shit about "peace" at all was so you could get a Nobel. And, obviously, the only reason you want a Nobel is for the prestige, the association with people who did something worthwhile (most of them, at least) and who themselves didn't just want to get a medal.

I.E., dickhead, you're admitting that the adulation you crave is specifically of the undeserved variety.

1. You are also admitting that you weren't doing "what is good and proper" for the US while you were lusting after your Nobel. But that is perhaps less of a joke than your promise to start doing any such thing from now on.

2. What do you even want out of the Norwegian PM? Is he just a general enemy now because he's a normal, functioning human?

Very difficult, even half-way around the world in Perth, to make sense of #ICE just flat-out murdering a passer-by in #Minneapolis. Not to lessen the plight of the thousands already brutalised and disappeared.

To then stay peaceful, to avoid escalating, is a very difficult pill to swallow, but also very strategic.

The world is paying attention.

One #scifi #fantasy trope that breaks the magic for me just a bit is the monster with improbably many and improbably long and pointy teeth. I'm looking at you, #DrWho, but not just you.

I'm no zoologist, but I like to imagine that a creature needs teeth for mundane, everyday hunting and chewing, not just for gleefully threatening passing protagonists and their attendant audiences. Having a mouth full of tent pegs isn't really the most economical way to eat your dinner, I suspect.

For one, you're going to lacerate half your own face (a la Agrajag from the #HHGTTG). Also, your food is just going to get a bunch of holes in it and become permanently stuck to you, rather than actually going down your throat in little pieces.

So, you know, sensible teeth please.

I used a different computer to access work email, and now #Outlook365 thinks I've moved to Iceland or Liberia.

I'll double check, but I don't think my apartment crosses quite that many time zones.

Currently getting a storm of weird #scam emails, using an address of mine leaked from #Discord (I know this because I use a specific "+" email address for Discord).

Every half hour or so, the scammer opens a support ticket with some perhaps-legitimate third party service, using my email. I'm mostly just getting a barrage of "thanks for your query"-type responses, but there are snippets of the scammer's messages in there too:

* "FREE DISCORD NITRO!" - well, I never knew I needed that, and I still don't.
* "Your Vine Account has been Successfully Deleted" - so I now have -1 Vine accounts.
* "LEGAL DEMAND FROM ISRAEL FOR Bandai Namco Entertainment" - look, Israel, take it up with my crack Japanese legal team.
* "[urgent] cease and desist order from israel for nintendo" - take it up with my _other_ crack Japanese legal team.
* "Law Enforcement Emergency Data Request For Your DISCORD Account From MOSSAD" - is this about my FREE NITRO? I swear I didn't know.
