@markwyner@mas.to https://www.newsweek.com/amnesty-internationals-clash-with-jk-rowling-charity-explained-12189229 I'm not surprised about much these many months. So now we get the word out what she's doing. My first thought was omg .

@greenpeace@mastodon.social Why don't more people care ... for the same reasons we're letting democracy go bye-bye? I took a walk by 7 am (PA) treelined street 1 mile flat. By the time I got home I was sweating way too much. Spouse saw me at home and said I was nuts ... Fossil fuels make the money and kill the planet.

@brianbilston@mastodon.online I loved the end. It's really interesting both ways.

@Enema_Cowboy@dotnet.social @lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social If you're a crab in Annapolis, I'd be happy to have you steamed in Old Bay seasoning and eaten by me.

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social Needs to be part of campaigning. When chump lost the 2016 election and ICE started appearing, spouse and I talked about the murderers coming to our home. We agreed to let it happen (how do you fight masks without guns) and whoever's left has to shut up and understand it's out of our control. That's the potential end of life scenario. It's a possibility of where we end up.

@clintruin@mastodon.social @greenpeace@mastodon.social sigh. It took us months or a couple of years after 9/11 to get a flip phone. By 2010, we had iphones ... I don't have email on it and I'm eventually deleting 90% of the apps. as I did in my last phone. I'm one person, though.

@overholt@glammr.us I think it's part of crazy and stupid and that's the country we're in ... It does take away sanity so it must be right for tyranny. I'm not resurrecting my brother or past boyfriends or spouses. It's just nuts even though I understand it.

@JimsPhotos@ohai.social I'm watching The nose on this cutie is a little too blunt for a mouse and definitely too short for a rat and its legs are too "big" as in padded for mice and rats. It does have a baby weasel face and is adorable. Thanks for the image. It's really cool. How did you get a picture of it? Mice and rats are speedy. I don't know about weasel speed.

@nova@lunar.place Me hiding above my college vanity waiting to scare my roommate and did successfully get yelled at. But, if I looked like kitty, the yelling probably would've been a big smile.

@MadeMeSmile@mastodon.social Absolutely amazing. The blue is the best to me (looks florescent). But microscopic mush? That's neat, too. Thanks for this.

@lislegaard@sonomu.club They're on my computer. Rarely use phone and they sure work.

@ramsey@phpc.social @zutalorz@haunted.computer I'd call it instinct and innate but I don't know. How do animals (including humans) know how to survive.

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social 👏 She should add, "It makes me a bad person and I'm sorry but someone will likely murder me or you due to the decisions I've made but don't tell anyone. John Roberts told me I have to lie."

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social I can't find any proof of this one. I did find that he used the phrase with this on x. That's it, though. BREAKING: Donald Trump is reportedly "apocalyptically angry" that the Supreme Court's rejection of his E. Jean Carroll guilty verdict appeal, means that he's officially, once and for all, a rapey, raping rapist. 2:41 PM · Jun 29, 2026 947.8K Views

@Xavier@infosec.exchange Medical M. is legal here. There's a dispensary that insists on having you load your MM card on their website because people arrived there with expired cards. I made it clear I'm never doing that due to privacy. What kills me is the number of people who don't care and do it.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social It was a lot worse when I took my first peek at it scrolling down. I thought he was looking in the maggot's a.h.

@PeterRu@climatejustice.social Hurray! I wish we could've done things like that with bad people here.

@Michigander@toad.social Heart be still. That's lovely and a little on the creepy side :) . It looks like the sky is gently on fire from miles away. Thanks.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferengi It's kinda neat to read about our avarice friends.

@_elena@mastodon.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr This has been going on in different flavors throughout my long adult life. It gets worse with "planned obsolescence" in sw and hw. Smart isn't a word I want in a product I buy because I know it's bs and I don't want "icloud" - both are euphemisms.

@iamnotU@mastodon.social @evacide@hachyderm.io Every nanosecond is a new drama. Waking up is nightmarish looking for wtf they did overnight.

@catsalad@infosec.exchange That's awesome!

@maxleibman@beige.party Makes sense to me. Thanks.

@maxleibman@beige.party It's okay to not understand economics. It gets complicated (my father was an economist). Can't tolerate racism but can tolerate economic ignorance.

@lydiaschoch@mastodon.social I agree. A friend from decades ago posted her husband's obituary on FB and I found it ... annoying. Don't pay a local paper prior hedge fund manager and don't use oligarchs social bs media.

@protonprivacy@mastodon.social https://stateofsurveillance.org/news/utah-vpn-law-sb73-age-verification-may-6-effective-date-2026/ Proton, I let you know this and about other websites with which I had trouble months ago. I gave you the info needed when I was blocked until it got so bad (the blocking), I mostly gave up. My concern isn't your VPN - it's the orange dude and ill cronies who likes stomping on the world.

@angusm@mastodon.social There's a problem. I've used proton's VPN. Initially (last year) I used it to check government sites (in PA) and I couldn't get in the website. VPN was quickly detected. Other websites, just landing on one would block me (substack.com had many issues with it). While VPN sounds nice, it's not foolproof so don't count on it. My subscription to proton ends in September and so will VPN. Good luck UK! Utah has already banned VPN. https://stateofsurveillance.org/news/utah-vpn-law-sb73-age-verification-may-6-effective-date-2026/

@catsalad@infosec.exchange That's so adorable! Thanks!

@nowathecat@mastodon.social That's my Peeky cat imitator who loved playing with our pet rat.

@Nonilex@masto.ai fing jail ... for all the things we don't know about what they've all done and will do until the earth is a dead planet.

@lowqualityfacts@mstdn.social I'm a fan of rodents. Used to watch rats and horseshoe crabs on the rocky banks of Long Island sound. Blame the plague on mini horses and see how many magas can get a free ride on them. Goooooo magas!

@GandalfDG@indieweb.social @markwyner@mas.to It's so bad. And if chump were put in the wh would this have even happened? I doubt it. It's sickening. This is what happened to me some decades ago. I read a book and thought it was decent. Then I learned what wiki said (I don't think it existed when I read the book). Wiki is pretty trustworthy these days and here's what that was about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Education_of_Little_Tree

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social When I was mostly on a different media source, someone mentioned concentration camps. I suggested waiting to find out what they would be and it didn't take long. Stupids and ignorants won't believe (a stupid walked away from me when I told his brother he voted for a dictator) while maggots rejoice as they're happily being led to several for untold joy. They didn't ask for camps but they voted for evil and evil is exactly where they're going.

@QasimRashid@mastodon.social I'm really glad I'm old. But, I can leave my phone at home. I turned off notifications to my car (and it's tracking me through starlink anyway).

@thomasfuchs@hachyderm.io ARGHHHHHHHHHHH, the assholes lying again.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social congrats, folks. I'm planning on canceling my VPN and extra stuff on email before it autorenews because I expect a slew of shit to stop it too soon. Sites here are stopping me and it's getting worse.

@skeletor@mas.to I'm waiting. I'm concerned and that's an understatement. "Violence is his brand." Ghiat and. she knows.

@fsfe@mastodon.social @europython@fosstodon.org Yay, StarTrek. I'm rewatching a couple because the others I have memorized.

@noybeu@mastodon.social Yep. We're a banana republic or worse. Don't trust anyone who says it's in the government. Let this place rot (I'll be rotting with it soon enough).

@Tutanota@mastodon.social I hate them and we're inundated with "download chrome" at ever #@%* turn. Alpha needs to be cut off along with Meta at the torso (looking for something that can't easily grow back) but in this world, it ain't gonna happen. I wish you' all the best. Get rid of them.

@RonSupportsYou@mastodon.social May he choke on tesla (mr. Tesla, that is) and pass the choke gene on to all his family.

@hootalex@mastodon.social It looks like a really nice wallpaper and that's not an insult. Our living and dining room are shades of the green and it would look great on a small wall here.

@ColinTheMathmo@mathstodon.xyz It should be but not by bessent or chump, inc. They'd all lose too much money while dying in the world the elite. Mars, anyone?

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social COOL!!!!! I have two upside-down flags that were on my window in last state and are now fraying here. I want to put a large one in our living area but spouse is afraid.

@streetartutopia@mastodon.online omg, what an imagination. It's gorgeous (jewelry making).

@superbetsy@mastodon.social I'm glad I looked at your post. I wondered what I was missing. We had short dogs, one was a tiny issue once when one removed a cooked pork chop from my fingers as I was walking (first dog we had as an adult). Then I saw "the real dog" and cracked up. 😂

@ufwupdates@union.place Why ask? We're head to a kkk nationalist nation but wait a sec and it'll change. They're playing dicts - toss the colors, bring in those who say they believe in god and kill off the rest of us if we're not white, part of the kkk, and morons meaning uneducated which is necessary when going from a democracy to a form of dictatorship.

@nixCraft@mastodon.social hahahahaha! Hurray. It's what most of my little world knows already - ai sucks. If you want errors, use it by all means and ensure the black house uses a lot of it (formerly known as the white house).

@mattblaze@federate.social He thinks he's a strong man and associates guns and bombs with it. I doubt he has any idea what a sacrifice is thanks to daddy and bone spurs and other lies he used. He's not honoring anyone but himself.

@bitbraindev@mastodon.gamedev.place @cyberlyra@hachyderm.io When chump had Farage at a rally, I though the UK was screwed.
